Our most beautiful glacier hikes

Rhème Golette clacier

After waking up early, you take the path to an end of the world place where only a local guide can lead you.

You cross meadows where ibexes and marmots wake up, before setting foot on the glacier. A short climb takes you to the Franco-Italian border at the col of Rhême Golette at 3112m. The more adventurous will continue their ascent in altitude towards the various surrounding summit points. Whatever your performance, the Gran Paradiso offers itself to your eyes in a breathtaking view. A way to give ideas for a future ascent!

Glacier of Aiguille Rouge

Let yourself be told the story of a glacier that was the desire of inveterate skiers from the beginning of the 80s.

Reach the top of the Aiguille Rouge by cable car. From there, a grandiose panorama is revealed to you. It is then time to hold on and descend on the glacier: crevasses will be available to you for a gentle introduction to glacier hiking. During a half-day, this route is accessible to children to share this moment with the family. Accessible directly from Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.
