Discover a new relaxation experience straight from Finland. Dressed in a dry suit, float in the waters of our frozen lake for an extraordinary moment of well-being.  The sensory isolation allows you to reconnect with nature, appreciating the magnificence of the surrounding mountains.  Feel the sun caressing your face, the beauty of snowflakes delicately falling, or the magic of the stars at night.

To remember

Participation conditions

  • Minimum age & height: from 10 years old (with an adult)
  • Accessible to everyone
  • Time slot: 2 hour in total including 30 min of relaxation (minimum)
    - 1 hour up/down with Solaise gondola and the walk approach to the lake
    - 1 hour of activity including at least 30 minutes of relaxion in the water
  • Daylight floating from 10am to 2pm every Thursdays

 

 

 

 

Organisation and Safety

  • The activity is supervised under the responsibility of a state certified or state graduate dive instructor
  • Book directly with us at our office in Val d'Isère and online
  • Activity available every Thursday 

 


 

 

 

Equipment

  • We provide all the diving equipment
  • You float emerged in the icy water, wrapped in your warm ice survival suit
  • Bring: Your ski outfit and warm underwear underneath, thick socks, ski googles or sunglasses. A hair elastic for long hair.

Insurance info and cancellation

  • Flexible Sales Conditions 
  • Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our office).
    1. Cancellation:
    - This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
    - All COVID related causes are excluded.
    2. Assurski in case of an accident:
    - Assurski covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a skiing accident (including off-piste) and all other snow sports.
    - No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
    -  Lift pass refunded up to the value of 200€
    - Ski lessons refunded up to the value of 400€

The best time of year to enjoy a good swim !?

The idea of floating in frozen lakes was born out of a quest for well-being and vitality. Decades ago, the Finns discovered that immersion in icy water had beneficial effects on blood circulation, the immune system and relaxation. 

 Over time, Ice Floating has evolved to include special isothermal suits that allow participants to float comfortably while being exposed to the winter elements. 

 Today, Ice Floating has become a popular recreational activity in winter destinations such as Tignes, offering a unique experience combining well-being and relaxation in an extraordinary natural setting. At evolution2 we know that ski vacations are not always a relaxing experience... So come and enjoy a truly relaxing break on Lac de Tignes. Those who have experienced it will be able to confirm it!
