The itineraries are aimed at people who have already done a day's snowshoeing and who are able to walk with a rucksack for their overnight gear.
Programme
Day 1
Elevation gain : ↗660 m ; ⏱4h30 of walk
Day 1 - First day's walk from Val d'Isère to the Fond des Fours hut.
Departure from our Evolution 2 office in Tignes or Val d’Isère at 1:00 p.m.; welcome and overview of the hike; getting to know the group.
Enjoy a gradual ascent through snow-covered landscapes. Guided by our hike leaders, come and savor the magic of the mountains.
After several hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at the welcoming and cozy Fond des Fours mountain hut. Share a convivial evening surrounded by nature.
Fall asleep, warm and cozy, at an altitude of over 2,500 meters.
Day 2
↗ D+400m ; ↘D -1100 m ; ⏱6.30 h of walk
Day 2 - Second day towards a high summit of the Vanoise: depending on the conditions, La pointe des Lorès South (↗ D +400m; ↘ D -1100 m; ⏱ 6h30 walk) or Pointe de la Bézin.
After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll begin your descent.
Discover a new perspective on the snow-covered landscape. Admire the surrounding peaks and keep an eye out for wildlife tracks. Two routes are possible (depending on conditions): Pointe de Lorès Sud or Pointe de la Bézin.
Arrival at the end of the day in Val d’Isère or Tignes.
