The request
The Program
➡️ The day begins around 9 AM at the clients' hotel in the center of Chamonix, alongside the Evolution 2 guides.. The transfer to the Montenvers train station is done on foot, with all equipment prepared the day before.
➡️ All aboard the "Petit Train Rouge" 🚂, a historic rack railway in operation since 1908! Winding through the forest, it transports the group to 1,900m altitude, opening the doors to high-mountain landscapes.
Upon arrival, the group discovers the breathtaking Mer de Glace, with stunning views of Les Drus and the Aiguille Verte.
Each rope team of 6 participants sets off with its guide. Equipped with crampons, they embark on a glacier adventure, navigating through gigantic séracs—a gentle introduction to alpinism while uncovering the mysteries of glaciers.
➡️ Lunchtime: Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Mer de Glace, surrounded by spectacular landscapes, before heading back to Chamonix aboard the Montenvers train.
