Guided by a passionate local farmer, immerse yourself in the world of traditional mountain life, sustainable agriculture, and stunning natural surroundings. The perfect family-friendly activity!
On the schedule:
🚶♂️ The adventure begins at 3:00 PM from the farm’s parking area, heading up into the pastures to meet the gentle-eyed Brunes des Alpes, the pride of the local herds.
Along the way, you’ll learn about:
🌿 The evolution of Alpine landscapes
🦌 The diverse wildlife and flora of the mountain ecosystem
🌾 The daily realities of mountain farming, its challenges, and its close ties to organic and local practices
🥾 Gourmet break in the heart of the meadows
Settle in among the wildflowers for a tasting of local farmhouse cheeses, paired with stories and fun facts about the traditions behind them.
🏡 Back at the farm, get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the farmer’s daily life: tour the cowshed, hayloft, and meet the calves and pigs
🕒 Return around 6:00 PM to the starting point.
