Who says the day ends when the slopes close? At Evolution 2 Tignes, we believe the best team memories are made under the stars. Recently, we hosted a team of 8 colleagues for a nocturnal E-Buggy challenge in the heart of Val Claret. Here’s a look back at an evening where the silence of electric engines was replaced by laughter and speed records.

It’s around 6:00 PM. As the resort lights begin to twinkle and the mountain air turns crisp, our group arrives at the Tignes Val Claret circuit. The atmosphere is already electric. Waiting for them is a fleet of 100% electric E-Buggies, ready to bite into the snow.

The mission? To strengthen team spirit, of course, but above all to claim the coveted title of "King of the Track" during our Cross Challenge format.

After a warm welcome from our certified instructors, it’s time for the technical brief. The E-Buggy is the perfect blend of performance and ecology. No engine roar, no petrol fumes—just the satisfying crunch of tires on packed snow.

"It's so intuitive!" exclaimed Sarah after her first warm-up lap. In just a few minutes, all 8 participants mastered the art of the slide. The secret? Balancing the acceleration to trigger spectacular drifts without spinning out.

The group is split up to start the competition. The rounds follow one another:

  1. The Qualifiers: Everyone hunts for the perfect racing line on the 240-meter circuit.

  2. The Finals: Tension rises. The buggies crisscross, lines get tighter, and cheers (and friendly banter) erupt from the sidelines.

  3. The Podium: After a legendary final, the winners are celebrated under the floodlights. The champion takes the glory, but the whole team leaves with a massive grin.
