Freeride group lessons

✚ What to bring : 

• Equipment: freeride skis, ski boots, poles and a helmet (mandatory). For teenagers, the safety pack (avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe) is included in the course price. For adults, safety equipment rental will be offered during the booking process.
• Ski pass: a valid ski pass is required to access the ski lifts.
• Sun protection: ski mask or sunglasses and sunscreen.
• Clothing: wear warm clothing suitable for off-piste skiing, including gloves and a neck warmer.
• Water and snacks: bring a water bottle and a small snack for breaks.
• Thursday full-day session: please also bring enough money to pay for your lunch.

Participation Requirements

• The Freeride Course is reserved for expert-level adults.
• A very good level of skiing is essential to ski comfortably across different types of terrain and snow.
• To join the Teen Freeride Course, participants must have achieved Junior Academy 3 level.
• Participants must be comfortable skiing on varied terrain and follow the safety instructions given by the instructor.
• The programme and routes may be adapted according to snow conditions, weather and the group's ability level.

Throughout the course, your instructor will help you work on:

• Ski technique across different types of snow and terrain.
• Adapting your line to the terrain and current conditions.
• Reading the terrain and choosing appropriate routes.
• The right habits for skiing safely off-piste.
• Discovering the different areas of the Espace San Bernardo.

Routes and exercises are adapted by the instructor according to the conditions of the day and the group's ability level.
