Who are we ?

It was in the heart of the French Alps, in Tignes, in 1987, that the Evolution 2 adventure began. Founded by passionate ski and mountain enthusiasts, the school had a clear goal: to reinvent the way skiing and outdoor sports are taught by offering a more personalized and human approach, different from traditional ski schools. Very quickly, the quality of its instruction and the originality of its experiences established the school’s reputation. Over nearly 40 years, the original small school has grown into an international network of more than 500 professionals, all driven by the same values: adventure, safety and a passion for sharing unforgettable experiences. Today, Evolution 2 brings together 30 destinations in France and abroad, across 3 continents, and offers 55 outdoor activities in both summer and winter from skiing and sledding to canyoning, paragliding and mountain biking.

Safety first
All our instructors are state-certified and receive ongoing training. Our clients’ safety is our number-one priority in every activity, whether on the slopes or in the great outdoors.

A personalized approach
We don’t offer standard ski lessons or activities. Every lesson, trip and experience is designed to adapt to your level, your pace and your interests.

Local expertise
Our schools are deeply rooted in each resort and destination. Our instructors know their mountains, coastlines and local environments better than anyone.

The Evolution 2 network is present in some of the most iconic resorts in the French Alps: Val d’Isère, Tignes, Chamonix, Val Thorens, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Megève, Avoriaz, Morzine and La Clusaz. In each of these destinations, our ski schools offer lessons for children and adults, from beginners to advanced skiers, as well as off-piste courses and ski touring trips, all led by state-certified instructors who know their resort inside and out. You can also find our schools in the Pyrenees, in Saint-Lary, as well as at our South-West and coastal destinations.

Evolution 2 is also a major player in outdoor events. Every year, the network organizes sporting and public events across its destinations, including the Tarentaise Enduro, La Megévanne, the Street Bike Tour and the Grand Prix de Raft, to name just a few. Evolution 2 is also the official organizer of the Evolution 2 Freeride Series, the French qualifying circuit for the Freeride World Tour, bringing together the best freeride riders each winter on the most spectacular slopes in the Alps.
