Discovering an historic sledge : the paret

Born in the village of Manigod at the heart of the Aravis range in Haute-Savoie, the paret sledge is a small wooden sledge made of a single axe. One sits on an inclined wooden board, with a foot on each side of the paret. You steer by shifting your body weight, while grabbing onto a static wooden handle. This sledge used to allow schoolchildren to move around at the beginning of the 20th century! It holds more than a century of history and know-how. Would you like to discover the authenticity of the paret? Evolution2 is there to make you live a unique moment. Fun guaranteed!

What is the Yooner? The Yooner is the modern version of the paret. Inspired by the historical sledge/paret, the yooner is made up of a plastic seat mounted on an axe. The sliding sensation is similar to the feeling of a sledge. It will boost your adrenaline level and guarantee a thrilling moment. Experience this moment alone or in groups, and glide at full speed on secured tracks.
