A network of resorts to teach more

All Evolution 2 ski schools are part of the same network. This means that during the season, you can join another Evolution 2 resort to support a team that needs extra instructors or simply discover a new place to ski and teach. Whenever a transfer is required, your accommodation and lift pass are fully covered.

Transparent hourly pay

Let's be honest: when you're a ski instructor, the first thing you look at is the hourly pay. At Evolution 2, we believe in complete transparency. No complicated calculations, no unpleasant surprises. The hourly rate we advertise is the rate you actually earn. You know how many hours you'll be teaching, and you know exactly what you'll be paid. Better still, your hourly rate can increase during peak periods or as you build a loyal base of returning clients.

One of the highest teaching volumes in the industry

A happy instructor is one who spends time teaching. At Evolution 2, getting enough teaching hours isn't a concern. In most of our resorts, teaching 500 hours or more over the course of a season is the norm. In some destinations, it's not unusual to reach, or even exceed, 800 hours. And if you're willing to move between resorts within the Evolution 2 network, even more opportunities become available.

Teaching conditions designed for instructors

At Evolution 2, our group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 students. We're not an online booking platform, we have dedicated teams based in each resort who know their instructors personally and work hard to provide the best possible teaching conditions. Fewer students means more time to teach, higher-quality lessons, and a more enjoyable day on the slopes. Every resort also has a dedicated instructors' room where you can store your equipment, get changed, catch up with colleagues, or simply enjoy a coffee before heading out to teach.

Year-round opportunities

Evolution 2 is much more than a ski school, but you probably already know that. Across France, we offer more than 50 outdoor activities, including mountain biking, rafting, canyoning, hiking, via ferrata, corporate events, sports events, and much more. As a result, many of our instructors work with us all year round. Our goal is simple: to help you build a sustainable career in the mountains and, if that's what you're looking for, avoid having to chase seasonal work from one place to another. Your personalized instructor page

Your clients' expectations have changed, and so have we. That's why we give you the freedom to offer a more personalised experience while building your own relationship with your clients, all backed by the visibility and commercial strength of the Evolution 2 brand. To help you grow your client base, you'll have your own personal page on the Evolution 2 website, where you can showcase your background, experience, and areas of expertise. Clients can book lessons directly with you, while our resort teams take care of bookings, customer service, and all the administrative work behind the scenes.

Accounting and tax support

Working as a ski instructor can sometimes feel complicated. That's why we take the time to guide you through the accounting, tax, and administrative aspects of the job, so you can make informed decisions and get the most out of your business. After all, before trying to earn more, it's often worth understanding how to manage your expenses more effectively.

Eurotest and CTT preparation: we support you every step of the way

Evolution 2 is probably one of the ski school networks offering the greatest number of Eurotest training weeks in France. Every winter, we organise at least 12 weeks of complimentary training to help you prepare for the Eurotest and achieve your CTT. No matter which Evolution 2 ski school you work for, we'll send you to La Rosière or Tignes for your training. Your accommodation and lift pass are fully covered.

Stress-free UF training

No stress when it comes to your UFs (Training Units), we'll support you throughout every stage of your DE training. At every Evolution 2 ski school, a dedicated training manager is there to guide you, helping you prepare for each milestone and giving you the best possible chance of success.

Evolution 2’s freeride DNA

Evolution 2 has freeride in its DNA. We organise the Freeride World Tour Qualifier events in France, giving us genuine expertise and a unique freeride culture that benefits both our instructors and our clients. As a result, there's strong demand for freeride and ski touring experiences, with many clients choosing to book off-piste guiding and backcountry adventures. If freeride is where you feel most at home, you'll fit right in at Evolution 2.
