I booked lessons for a party of 7. The two beginners had 3 group lessons wth Jerome. They both thought Jerome was really great (and they are both inveterate complainers so that is saying something). In addition they didn't want to be late for Jerome's lessons (despite not being early risers)! One of the beginner's was navigating steep blue slopes with control on the 3rd day (e.g. Mont Blanc and Pierre Blanches). Great job, Jerome! I booked an extra lesson for the beginners. They wanted Jerome but Jerome wasn't available. They had Bruno who was also really great despite having to follow Jerome! We tried to get more lessons but Evolution 2 were fully booked for the rest of the week. The 3 intermediate level 1 and 2 skiers had Lionel for two 2hr lessons. Lionel was a very popular instructor with the group and the group really felt the progression in their skill level. Myself and another intermediate level 3 skier had Vero. We really enjoyed our lessons with Vero. I had two 2 hr lessons. Vero was great fun and didn't pull any punches when it came to giving critical feedback. Vero used various different techniques to get us to learn how to carve, I can't say we were the best students but Vero didn't give up. Taking us from no carving at all to partial carving to carving most of the turn if not consistently. After the lessons I knew exactly what to practise: let the skis fall 1-2-3, pressure, pressure, pressure, stand, flatten skis, repeat (in a French accent of course) . Vero also took me through the trees off piste for a bit of fun (can't say I was terribly in control) and gave me some instruction on a steep mogul black run (which I got down in one piece). Thank you Vero for your infectious enthusiasm and radical candour! In summary, every instructor is to be highly recommended, which is unusual for ski schools in France in my experience. Great job Jerome, Bruno, Lionel and Vero, and Evolution 2!

Just back from a week in Tignes. I had a week with Cami on the red/black group, whilst my wife was with Andi in the green group. Both instructors were absolutely outstanding. I saw real improvement, having never had a full weeks instruction before. Cami pushed me to my limit, whilst making sure I always new I was in capable hands. In the green group, my wife's improvement was obvious as her confidence grew. No question that I would book Evolution 2 again, next time I am in Tignes.

I just wanted to write this review of my experience taking beginner ski school from 22nd to 28th of December. Thomas was an absolutely fantastic instructor, I had a fantastic time. He was always willing to help and answer any questions I had and made it fun for the group. He was also always helpful to people around him whether they were part of evolution 2 ski school or not, whether it was scooping up kids who had fallen on the button lift or picking up litter people had left on the slopes, he was an excellent representative for evolution 2 and the reason I would book again! Thanks to the evolution 2 team!

The first day was a bit manic with people turning up late and them trying to sort the groups to ability. But after that we had a great time too. The instructor (CoCo) was brilliant. He helped us improve our technique and confidence. Took time to learn about us and made sure everyone in the group got some specific coaching on how to ski better. He was very patient with us. Would highly recommend and would book again.

I took a week of group lessons as a complete beginner on skis. Being quite fearful and stressed about life, I first wondered what the hell I was doing there. After a few breakdowns, I improved day by day. And all this thanks to Angèle who took wonderful care of me, like a big child. She gave me confidence and lifted my fat ass off the ground several times. In addition to being a great teacher, she is a cool woman, smiling, patient and extraordinarily kind. I have only one regret: not having been able to spend more time with her. So thank you again Angèle, I want to ski now!

I've never skied before and by the end of the week was able to do parallel turns and feel confident to go down some green and blue slopes by myself. When i come back to Avoriaz will definetly book more lessons with evolution2 school, the pace of improvement is so much faster with the help of the pros.

I'd also like to say a big thank you to Bertrand the previous year, who was able to awaken in me the pleasure of skiing even though I'd never done it before in my life and was starting from scratch! I had one lesson with Damian after not having ski lessons for many years, he helped me see my bad habits and improve! Difficult slopes are now much easier and the skiing is less tiring! It was a very positive experience. We were lucky to have a fabulous group of 8 adults who got on so well together. Our instructor, Jeremy, is very experienced and was able to quickly identify the skills we all needed to develop. He was also very good at building confidence when we needed it and kept his sense of humour throughout. I learned so much this week - I improved my skiing skills, gained more confidence and enjoyed meeting new people too. Great!!!

I had two 2 hour lessons with Evolution 2 @ Avoriaz and both Alex and CoCo were excellent instructors. I can ski already but just wanting to be better and both instructors helped me progress and also took me on some great runs I would not have found on my own. Well worth taking lessons, every day is a school day.

Please pass on my BIG THANKS to Gabin for my lesson on Friday last week. I learnt so much in that time with him, that I improved more over the next 4 days than I had in the last 4 years! skiing and snowshoeing We have been faithful to Avoriaz and Evolution 2 for many years! We come regularly for the weeks of Christmas and New Year. Our 2 children followed the ski courses, always with great enthusiasm! The teachers (young or old - a little nod to Bruno that my daughter loves!) are very friendly and professional. Our children (now young adults) have progressed very well in skiing and are completely comfortable on and off the slopes and know the safety rules perfectly. We also regularly do the snowshoeing activity with Evolution 2, because their professionalism is outstanding! Not to mention the very friendly welcome! To recommend! Do not hesitate!
