What to bring
- Equipment: if you don’t have your own kit, you can hire Gore-Tex boots, snowshoes and poles from Sport 2000, located right next to our meeting point. Just make sure you arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the start of the hike if you need to collect your equipment.
- Clothing: wear warm, comfortable clothing suitable for winter conditions and mountain walking: gloves or mittens, a hat and a neck warmer. The three-layer system is ideal for easily adjusting your clothing as you exert yourself.
- Water and snacks: bring a water bottle and some snacks to top up your energy during the outing.
- Sun: remember to bring your sunglasses and sun cream to protect yourself from the glare off the snow.
For day trips, please also bring a packed lunch if this is specified in the trip description.
