Working at the Val Fréjus resort for 33 years and originally from our beautiful Maurienne Valley, our mountain guide Christophe will be delighted to help you discover the different facets of our region. 🥾
Our hikes last 3 hours with plenty of breaks to observe the wildlife of our mountains through binoculars.
Relaxation, discovery, conviviality and fresh air are the objectives of the hikes on offer. 🧘

🟢 Free hike on Sunday afternoon: Discover our programme for the week, the starting points for marked hikes (winter signage, advice on essential equipment for your hikes).

🔵Mountain forest: Forest trail to discover different types of wood, how they
adapt to altitude, their traditional uses and exploitation, sculptures, etc. Plant and animal symbiosis.
🟡Chamois hike: Hike in search of the graceful chamois. Observation
using a telescope. Discover this tireless climber, the emblem of our mountains.
🟠Path of yesteryear: Route along an old path leading to the mountain pastures of yesteryear.
Beautiful landscapes, explanation of traditional lifestyles, relaxation, disconnection, wildlife observation possible.
🔴 Mountain wildlife: Hike to discover the wildlife of our mountains.
Observation with a telescope, wild route, guaranteed disconnection.
🟣 Large predator hike: Hike with a member of the large predator network (wolf and lynx census). Discover the behaviour of wolves, their organisation and numbers in France. Identification of footprints, census methods, interaction with farmers. Very interesting and informative.
⚫️Night hike on Tuesday and Thursday evenings: Guaranteed disconnection. Walk in the forest under the winter sky, break around a wood fire and torchlight descent to the station.
