Choosing the right childcare option

The nursery welcomes children aged 9 to 35 months. Depending on your child's age and how comfortable they are in a new environment, you can choose between half-day and full-day care.

Half-day sessions are available for all children. For babies under 15 months, we suggest starting with a shorter session before considering a full day. This gives your child time to settle in gradually and get used to the nursery team and surroundings.

Once your child feels comfortable, a full-day booking can be considered.

Please note: children booked for a full day cannot be collected during the lunch period.

Lunch and extended morning care

Would you like to stay out on the slopes a little longer or enjoy lunch without having to rush back?

You can add a meal to a morning childcare session:

• The nursery provides your child's meal.
• Children can be collected up to 1pm when booking a morning session with lunch.
• Lunch and afternoon snack are included with the full-day option from 9am to 4.30pm.

When making your booking, select your half-day or full-day option first. The meal option can then be added later in the booking process.

What happens during the day?

Children can arrive from 9am, with drop-off available until 10.30am so families do not have to rush first thing in the morning.

The daily programme varies according to the children's ages and interests and may include:

• movement and motor-skills activities
• sensory and hands-on play
• painting, modelling and other creative activities
• songs and nursery rhymes
• free play
• short sledging outings when conditions are suitable

Meals are adapted to the child's age and eating habits. Parents can share information about their child's usual food textures and routines with the team.

Rest periods are also planned around each child's individual sleep needs.

The nursery closes at 4.30pm. You can collect your child during the day whenever needed, except between 12pm and 1pm.

Before your child's first day

Following your booking, the nursery manager will contact your family to organise the registration process and answer any questions you may have.

You will be asked to provide:

• a completed health information form;
• an up-to-date vaccination record;
• the information required for your child's registration.

The nursery team will also send you a practical information guide before your arrival.

Outdoor activities may occasionally be organised depending on the weather and snow conditions, and on how well each child has settled into the nursery. These activities are not compulsory or guaranteed.

What should your child bring?

Please pack everything your child may need during their time with us:

• nappies
• comforter and/or dummy
• a complete change of clothes
• milk and bottle if required
• sun cream
• sunglasses
• gloves
• warm, waterproof boots
