You can drop off your children at the nursery between 9:00 and 10:00 before heading off to enjoy the slopes.

Throughout the day, activities will be offered to your children based on their needs. For your little ones, the schedule includes: motor skills courses, modeling workshops, pouring activities, fine motor skills exercises, handling objects, music, and reading sessions.

We even introduce your toddlers to the mountains! Outdoor activities may be organized: walks in the village, sledding, playing with snow, building snowmen, etc. Outdoor activities are neither mandatory nor systematic. They can be arranged depending on the weather and the children's adaptation to this new environment.

For meals, we have two different schedules:

  • For babies still eating purees: lunch will be at 11:30.
  • For older children: lunch will be between 12:00 and 13:00, with meals provided by our partner restaurant, the Wood Bear Café, located in the heart of Arc 1950.

Afternoon arrivals will take place between 14:00 and 15:00.

The day ends at 17:00.

Will my child be able to take a nap?

Will my child be able to take a nap?

At the Yeti creche, we adapt to your child's needs!

When you arrive, we discuss your child's routine with you to organize naptimes in the best way possible. At any point during the day, if the staff notice signs of fatigue, they will offer the child a rest period. Children wake up naturally.

For your child’s comfort, our daycare has a dormitory with certified beds (cribs or low beds).

Each child has their own individual bed.

How to check in on my child ?

How to check in on my child ?

No worries, your children are surrounded by professionals! If you need reassurance, we recommend not visiting your children during the day, as they may mistakenly think you're there to pick them up. However, feel free to contact us by phone anytime!

And if you need to pick up your child earlier, you can do so whenever you like, except between 12:00 and 13:30 to respect mealtime.

What do I need to provide?

What do I need to provide?

To ensure your little one has everything they need, it is essential to provide the following items:

  • Their soft toy and pacifier
  • A complete change of clothes
  • A snowsuit, boots, warm waterproof gloves
  • A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
  • A sleeping bag or sleep sack
  • You will need to provide the baby bottle and milk. We accept breast milk!
  • You must also supply diapers. We accept cloth diapers; in that case, please provide a waterproof bag for storing them, which we will return to you in the evening. Diaper changes are performed by professionals using gloves and soap.

It is imperative to provide a copy of your child's vaccination record.

What are the mandatory vaccinations for my child to be accepted?

What are the mandatory vaccinations for my child to be accepted?

Since January 1, 2018, the law mandates eleven vaccinations for children under the age of 2. These include vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus, and polio; whooping cough; measles; mumps; rubella; hepatitis B; meningococcus C; pneumococcus; and Haemophilus influenzae type b.

This means that for children born on or after January 1, 2018, these mandatory vaccinations are a prerequisite for entry or continued attendance in any school, daycare, summer camp, or other child care facility.

A copy of the vaccination record must be sent at least two weeks before your arrival so that the management team can verify that everything is in order. A medical certificate cannot replace the vaccination record. If any vaccinations are missing, you have until the day before your arrival to complete them.

Children who do not have a complete vaccination schedule (according to their age) will be denied access to the nursery.

What about disabilities?

What about disabilities?

In our commitment to inclusive care, even during holiday stays, we accept children with disabilities. However, we need to understand the nature of the disability, its specifics, and the child's particular needs. This information helps us determine if we can provide a welcoming environment for the child.

If your child has a disability, please contact us to discuss it with our childhood professionals.

Some practical information

Some practical information

For children aged 9-15 months, reservations will only be available for the morning or the morning + meal. If all goes well, depending on the child's adjustment conditions and if there is availability, you can add afternoons to create full days.

For advance reservations, we only offer weekly packages. Individual days can only be booked on-site based on availability.

We must have a copy of the health booklet in case of inspection or an epidemic. A medical certificate of suitability for collective living is not sufficient; it is not proof of vaccination.
