Are you a keen sportsperson and whitewater enthusiast?

We can help you achieve your level and obtain your CQP (qualification in white-water rafting and swimming). 

Holders of the CQP "rafting and white water swimming instructor" qualification are able to lead a white water swimming or rafting session as part of a convoy, for discovery or initiation purposes. In carrying out their tasks, they will operate in an artificial environment and on natural rivers up to class 3, under the responsibility of a holder of at least a level 4 diploma present in the convoy.

What does the training involve?

The course is made up of 4 skill blocks: 

  1. Preparing a rafting or white-water swimming session in a natural or artificial environment, with a commitment to a quality approach. 
  2. Accompanying participants in rafting or white-water swimming activities in compliance with safety principles. 
  3. Preparing and maintaining an artificial practice site and the equipment required for rafting and white water swimming activities.
  4. Management of your professional career in the field of physical and sporting activities.


--> 5 certification tests, including a test in a supervisory situation and a safety demonstration on the two navigation media, are required to validate certification.

A complete training programme must include a minimum of 175 hours of training at a centre (including 105 hours in the natural environment) and a minimum of 70 hours of training at a centre.

 

Organisation and content of the course :

Test d'Exigence Préalable (TEP): 06 May 2024 (placement test to assess your level) 
03 to 28 June 2024: 4 consecutive weeks of training 
July/August: July and August are free months. You will have the opportunity to work in our Evolution2 host facilities.
From 02 to 06 September 2024: Certifications 
18/19 September 2024: Make-up exams

🚣​ Who is it for?

  • This course is aimed at sportspeople with rafting and whitewater swimming experience.
  • The aim of the CQP Raft / NEV course is to enable you to work in the whitewater environment.

🎯  Goals

  • Sail on natural rivers up to class III with a group, supervised by a professional holding a level 4 diploma (BPJEPS, BEES, DEJEPS...)
    Sail in an artificial pool with a group, supervised by a professional holding a level 4 diploma (BPJEPS, BEES, DEJEPS, etc.) present on site.

  • Know how to swim, be sporty and attracted to these environments.

  • Experience in the fields of leadership, sports management and/or seasonal work is a plus.

TEP Events

  • You will take part in 2 class II passage III river descents (one in RAFT and one in NEV) on a class II passage III river, as a team member.

  • Your behaviour and sporting and safety qualities will be observed and assessed.

  • his will be followed by an individual interview, in which you will explain your motivations and plans.
