Dog sled ride

Share unforgettable and bonding moments with our sled dogs!

An excursion ,an experience, a real moment of adventure.  Comfortably seated in the sled, let yourself be guided by our adorable dogs and their mushers, enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Also, you can try to be a musher with an initiation guiding. Immerse yourself for a moment in the conditions of the far north and recharge your batteries!
Duration: 15 min briefing + 45 min sled ride

⚠️ 30 minutes walk from the last parking lot to get to the start of the activity.

⚠️The Sled weight must not exceed 200kg

In the program

These are one-hour sessions: 

- 15 minutes of contact with dogs + explanations

- 45 minutes of walking

Be careful!!

• 4 people max per sled: 2 adults + 2 children. 3 adults may be squeezed in the sled. 
• We can put 2 adults and 2 children in the musher’s sleigh + 1 adult (+12 years) who drives his own sleigh
• The musher will not take 3 or 4 adults in his sleigh

Participation conditions

• Dog sledding is accessible from 3 years old
• Pregnant women are not able to participate in this activity
• The total weight of the group must not exceed 180kg
• For driving, participants must be in good physical condition 

Equipment

• Warm clothing such as ski clothes with snow boots
• A hat and gloves are recommended
• Helmet recommended

How to book

 

• The activity can be booked in advance by email or phone, or directly in one of our offices
• Bookings will start at the beginning of November 2024

Meeting point

Concerning the meeting place : 

From the restaurant the 1580 restaurant in the Ste Foy Tarentaise resort. Follow the snow-covered road up to the Plan Bois Le Monal junction.

It's about a 25-minute walk from the restaurant.
