In the programme
Develop at your own pace and learn with a qualified instructor in a friendly atmosphere!
The ski group Learn to Turn level is aimed at beginner skiers, adults and teenagers from 14 yrs old, who are trying skiing for the first time.
The objective of the week is to progress independently in snowplough turns on a green slope.
You will learn to:
- Descend in a straight line on gentle slopes
- Link snowplough turns
- Stop under control
- Control speed
Let yourself be tempted by skiing and discover the first sensations of sliding!

To remember
Our method
- Gain the confidence to quickly enjoy the pleasure of skiing, even on small slopes!
- Instructors will harmonise groups at the start of the week and possibly change participants groups during the course of the week
- Keeping a low number of participants allows individual and personalised instructor advice whilst maintaining a group dynamic to make headway in progressing
- Use our Club house for video feedback and warm up if necessary!
- All our instructors speak fluent English.
Liftpass & Equipment
- A liftpass is not necessary on the first day of skiing! We start with the free slopes, your instructor will advise you at the end of the lesson if you will require a lift pass for the rest of the week.
- If you receive a good deal purchasing your lift passes from your tour operator, do not hesitate to take it.
- We strongly recommend wearing a helmet, poles are not required the first day of class.
Insurance info and cancellation

Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our offices).
1. Cancellation:
- This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
- All COVID related causes are excluded.
2. Assurski in case of an accident:
- Assurski covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a skiing accident (including off-piste) and all other snow sports.
- No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
- Lift pass refunded up to the value of 200€
- Ski lessons refunded up to the value of 400€
Meeting point - start of lessons
- 4 possible meeting points are available: Tignes le Lac, Tignes Val Claret, Tignes 1800 and Tignes les Brévières
- Evolution 2 reserves the right to change your meeting point if a group does not have the minimum number of particpiants required
- For customers staying in Tignes 1800 and Tignes les Brévières, if the departure of lessons cannot be assured in these villages, the lessons will start and end in Tignes le Lac. Transport will be provided to take you to lessons starting at 9am and return transport is provided for lessons finishing at 5pm
