❄️Ice meditation 🧘‍♀️

 

In the frozen setting of Lac de Tignes, discover a unique aquatic adventure: freediving under ice. Our team of professionals ensures a safe and memorable experience in the frozen waters. The snorkeler is accompanied by a diver. 

This activity is aimed at people who have already learnt classic freediving to be able to enjoy under-ice freediving. This activity is open to beginners under-ice freediving.

Unlike ice diving, under-ice freediving is done in a neoprene wetsuit (7mm thick), which is better suited to this discipline. 

 

📍The meeting point is on the banks of Lake Tignes, on the Tignes le Lac side. Meet Vincent or a member of his team at the large cabin below Le Lagon water park. 

The activity lasts 1 hour in total, including 15-20 min in the water.

Participation conditions

• From 15 years old, minimum height 1.55m/4'7
• Minors must be accompanied by an adult
• No prior diving exrperience required
• Time slot : just an hour including 15 to 20 min under water

Organisation and safety

• First dive and inexperienced divers are taken care of individually during the whole experience
• One person per intructor, maximum 2 participants per time slot
• The activity is supervised under the responsibility of a state certified or state graduate dive instructor
• Ski storage on site

Equipment

• It's a neoprene wetsuit so bring a swimming costume and towel
• We supply all your diving equipment
• You'll be warmly equipped!
• Bring your gloves and your beanie for after diving

Insurance info and cancellation

• Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended.
• You can subscribe when finalising your reservation to an individual cancellation insurance : ASSURMIX. This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).

Qualified divers and training

•  Divers with a recognised diving certificate (PADI or CMAS / FFESSM or ANMP or other) can possibly dive in pairs with one of our instructors, only if all the safety conditions are met and at the discretion of the instructor (the decision is solely that of the diving instructor, and from N2 or minimum equivalent). In this case, we do ask that divers provide a medical certificate
• Our instructors offer PADI or CMAS / FFESSM or ANMP diving training. Three dives will be spread over a day and a half. The price includes the material and the validation of the training
