Children will progress at their own pace and learn while having fun with a qualified instructor in a friendly atmosphere!

The ski group Junior Academy level is aimed at children from at least 10 years old and teenagers capable of parallel skiing on all slopes.

The objective of the week is to discover all the disciplines that skiing offers, with themed days.

Young people will learn to :

  • Improve the technique on red and black slopes
  • Control of shorts radius turns on red slopes
  • Introduction to off-piste skiing and risks and dangers in the mountains
  • Introduction of off-piste safety equipment
  • First technique of off-piste skiing

A medal is offered on Friday for the young graduates during the end of the week ceremony !

*Participants from different levels of the Junior Academy are likely to be grouped together, don't worry the instructor will be able to adapt the course!

Participation conditions

  • To register for the Junior Academy, children must be able to comfortably parallel ski on all slopes and be at least 10 years old. Super Yeti level has been achieved
  • All children are welcome! Please let us know if your child has a disability in order to adapt as well as possible
  • Reservations fo full day lessons are not possible online.  Please contact us.

Our method

  • A FUN learning environment enabling children to progress safely
  • Instructors will harmonise groups at the start of the week and possibly change participants groups during the course of the week
  • Our courses offer "Continuous assessment" rather than stressful end of week exams 
  • All our instructors speak fluent English.

Liftpass & Equipment & Lunch

  • A liftp ass Val d'Isère & Tignes is required from the first day of lessons. Free lift passes are available for children up to 7 yrs old.
  • Helmets are compulsory + skis + boots + gloves + goggles
  • A snack + a few coins for a hot chocolate!
  • To give you more time on the slopes, we offer lunch and supervision between 12pm and 2pm for only €39 per day

Insurance info and cancellation

  • Flexible Sales Conditions 
  • Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our office).
    1. Cancellation:
    - This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
    - All COVID related causes are excluded.
    2. Assurski in case of an accident:
    - Assurski covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a skiing accident (including off-piste) and all other snow sports.
    - No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
    -  Lift pass refunded up to the value of 200€
    - Ski lessons refunded up to the value of 400€
