Via Ferrata

➡️ You can climb for half a day on the Via Ferrata of Roc de Tovière and Platte de la Daille or for a day in the Massif du Beaufortain or Haute Maurienne to discover new magnificent places.

📍 Meeting point: at the bottom of the Roc de Tovière Via Ferrata at la Daille in Val d'Isère. Free parking is available on site (limited time parking, blue disc).

The cliffs of the Alps are home to Europe's largest species of bird of prey: the bearded vulture. If you look up from time to time, you might just catch a glimpse!

Participation conditions

Children are welcome from 10 years old
No experience required
This is not an activity for those scared of heights/edges/voids!
Participants need to be sporty, in good physical health and be comfortable in the mountains

Organisation and safety

This activity is supervised under the responsibility of a state graduate guide
Our outings are organised in small groups of 4 to 5 people. A minimum of 4 people is required to guarantee departure.
These are group sessions, which can be privatised on request.
The guide will adapt the outing to the level of the group

Equipment

Ensure to be wearing suitable hiking trainers, a windbreaker, a snack and water
We will provide you the safety equipment (helmet, harness, lanyard, etc.)

I have just done the Plattes de la Daille via ferrata in Val d'Isère with evolution 2. Our guide Hervé is top notch, friendly, motivating, a crazy guy! Extraordinary course but still with some difficult passages, because they are very steep. Via ferrata for people without vertigo, who are still in good physical condition or who want to go beyond their limits and have a great experience.
