YETI ACADEMY

Learn to ski while having fun with Evolution 2 Val d'Isère.

Your children will be supervised by a qualified instructor and in groups limited to 8 children. The interest of being in small groups is to have a better personalized learning throughout the week. ⛄

No test at the end of the week for your children, the instructor will evaluate their levels throughout the week. So... No stress on the last day.

Which course should your children enroll in ?

🟡 Little Yeti - group lessons

Who is it for ? Children from 6 years old, able to chain snowplough turns on low slopes or who have achieved Yetison level (or equivalent)

Learning ? Climbing stairs on a gentle slope, getting up on your own after a fall, balancing games, using ski lifts, mastering snowplough turns with parallel ski crossing on a green run.

🟢 Yeti 1 - group lessons

Who is it for ? Children who have achieved the Petit Yeti level mastering snowplow turns with parallel ski crossing on green slopes.

Learning ? Step turning upstream, skating step, direct trace across the slope with edge hold, control of altitude and balance with poles, linking elementary skidded turns (snowplough release, put skis parallel to the slope and finish on a rounded skid) on easy green or blue slope.

🔵 Yeti 2 - group lessons

For whom ? Children who have achieved the Yeti 1 level, approaching the parallel ski turn on green and blue runs.

Learning ? Rounded skid and slant skid, direct track on varied terrain with overcoming of hollows and bumps, control of the general attitude, parallel turns on blue slope.

🔴 Yeti 3 - group courses

Who is it for ? Children who have achieved the Yeti 2 level, knowing how to make parallel turns on blue slope.

Learning ? Direct trace and brake skid, use of vertical movement to initiate turns, sculling on red runway, mastery of general attitude on the front, mastery of parallel turn with use of sticks on red runway.

⚫️Super Yeti - group lessons

For whom ? Children who have achieved the Yeti 3 level, mastering parallel turns and sculling on red slope.

Learning ? Perfecting all types of turns on black runs, brake sculling, introduction to carving, imposed varied course, introduction to freestyle in a secure snowpark.

A medal is offered on Friday for the young graduates during the Yetis Ceremony! 🏅
