🧗 What level is required for this climbing course in Chamonix?
This course is designed for climbers with prior experience (minimum level 5+/6a).
You should be comfortable climbing as a second or lead climber and already familiar with basic rope handling.
🧠 Will I learn to climb independently?
Yes, this is the main goal of the course. You will learn how to manage a rope team, build anchors, rappel safely, and climb multi-pitch routes independently.
👥 How many participants per group?
Groups are intentionally kept small: maximum 2 to 3 participants per guide
This ensures personalized coaching and faster progression.
📍 Where does the course take place?
The course takes place in Chamonix and surrounding areas, on a variety of climbing spots suited to your level (Gaillands, Valorcine, Chéserys…).
In autumn, courses may also be organized in the Calanques.
🚠 Are lift passes included?
No, lift passes are not included. They may be used to access certain climbing areas more efficiently.
🧗 Is climbing equipment provided?
Technical equipment can be provided or rented depending on the organization.
A detailed equipment list will be sent after booking.
🌧️ What happens in case of bad weather?
The guide adapts the program depending on weather conditions to ensure safety and quality learning.
If necessary, the course may be rescheduled or adjusted.
📅 Can I choose between 3 or 5 days?
Yes, the course is available as a 3-day or 5-day program depending on your goals and availability.
The 5-day option allows deeper progression towards multi-pitch autonomy.
🏔️ Is it suitable for a first multi-pitch climbing experience?
Yes, as long as you already have basic climbing skills.
This course is ideal to transition from single-pitch climbing to independent multi-pitch climbing.
