Whether you are very adventurous or just want a fun day out with the family, the canyon of Barberine is suitable for all levels and offers several alternatives:
- Sports Canyon: Enjoy all of the most demanding obstacles (jumps, zip line, slides) for a dynamic course, full of thrills.
- Family Canyon : you prefer to enjoy canyoning in a more chilled atmosphere? No problem, the guide will adapt the height of the jumps and abseils according to your age and your ease! There are no obligations except to have fun.
During the course you will find abseils up to 25 meters long, jumps up to 4 meters high and a zip line depending on the crowds in the canyon.
- Period: from May to October, depending on the water level.
- Minimum age: we welcome children from 10 years old.
- Meeting point: Vallorcine, 25 minutes from Chamonix (transport not included).
- Level required: be comfortable in the water and know how to swim.
🔵 CANYONING FAMILY FUN - MAGLAND
Canyoning is a great outdoors sport, fun and refreshing! Supervised by a professional, you will progress in the water, by foot or swimming, varying techniques and pleasures: abseil, jump* into pools of clear water, slide on natural rock slides …laughs and good times with friends guaranteed.

With its fun and various obstacles, the Balme canyon ensures you a fun enjoy and exciting experience with friends or family.
The 1st part offers a succession of beautiful waterfalls where the guide will teach you abseiling techniques. The canyon then opens up into a fairly dense forest area before the final part of the descent: a dozen natural slides. A real water park!
During the course you will find abseils up to 22 meters long, 1 jump and many slides.

- Meeting place: Magland, 35 minutes from Chamonix (transport not included);
- Level required: be comfortable in the water and know how to swim.
🔴 CANYONING SPORTY - MEGEVE
Hike and Cruise down a river, following the water flow, by foot, swimming or even by using a system of technical progress with ropes, just as you would rappelling down a mountain. All this of course supervised by a professional.
There will be meters of jumping and leaping (easier escape routes possible for the less adventurous) and natural water slides to guide you through the beautiful clear waters all along the journey.

This athletic canyon will allow you, in 2 hours, to learn about many of the technical aspects of this field : jumping, rappelling, sliding...
This impressive gorge, in the middle of the Alps, offers a very aquatic beginning with many water jumps (6meters - non compulsory) and water slides that will get you right in the action. The end of the journey will have you rappelling down with playful gushes of water surrounding you. An easy pathway at the end can get you back to the top.
- Time of year : From May to October, depending on the water levels.
This canyon can be subject to precipitations. Many tracks and escapes routes around difficult zones are available.
- Required level : To be comfortable in water and to know how to swim.
- Difficulty : Rappelling down to 25 meters, jumps up to 6 meters, water slides
- Meeting point : "Megeve", 45 minute drive from Chamonix (transport not included)

When you arrive in Megève from Chamonix, at the first roundabout turn left direction "Mont d'Arbois". 200m after the city sign of Mont d'Arbois, you will see the long car park on your right.

Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our offices).
1. Cancellation:
- This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
- All COVID related causes are excluded.
2. Assursport in case of an accident:
- Assursport covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a sporty activity accident.
- No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
- Sporty activity refunded up to the value of 400€
