🟢 FUN DESCENT at Passy

Are you looking for a fun activity to do with the family? Discover hydrospeed and experience a fun time of freshness and laughter! On an 8 km course, let yourself slide in the white waters of the Arve and play with the waves for maximum fun!

Equipped with a full wetsuit, a helmet, a pair of fins and a float, this descent is ideal for a first approach to hydrospeeding with the family.

Hydrospeed activity details:

- Minimum age: we welcome children from 11 years old.
- Duration of the descent: approximately 2 hours on the river* (allow 3 hours in total with equipment, transfers and instructions).
* Times given are approximate and depend on the rivers water level.
- Meeting point: at the Passy rafting base, 20 minutes from Chamonix by car.
- Difficulty: class 2, easy but reserved for good swimmers.
- Conditions: it is compulsory to know how to swim and be comfortable in the water to be able to hydrospeed.

🔵 SPORTY DESCENT at Chamonix

Have you ever been hydrospeeding and are looking for a more adventurous/harder descent? This descent is perfect for you! In the higher part of the Arve river, in the heart of the Chamonix valley, let yourself be surprised by the faster currents during this 6 km course.
Refreshing and fun sensations guaranteed!

Equipped with a full wetsuit, a helmet, a pair of fins and a float, this descent is ideal for creating beautiful fun memories in white water.

Hydrospeed activity details:

- Minimum age: we welcome children / teenagers from 14 years old.
- Duration of the descent: approximately 1h15 on the river* (allow 2h30 in total with equipment, transfers and instructions).
* Times given are approximate and depend on the rivers water level
- Meeting point: at the Chamonix rafting base.
- Difficulty: class 2-3, easy but reserved for good swimmers.
- Conditions: it is compulsory to know how to swim and be comfortable in the water to be able to hydrospeed.

From Chamonix, take the main road direction Geneva. Take the exit number 21 "PASSY". At the roundabout take the last exit and at the next roundabout continue straight forward. The rafting base will be on your right.

Your hydrospeed equipment

Do not forget : Bathing suit and towel.

Provided by the guide : Neoprene suit and shoes, life jacket, helmet, flippers.

Insurance and cancellation conditions

Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our offices).
1. Cancellation:
- This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
- All COVID related causes are excluded.
2. Assursport in case of an accident:
- Assursport covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a sporty activity accident.
- No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
- Sporty activity refunded up to the value of 400€
