About the activity

How about an unforgettable night under the stars, just a stone's throw from Megève? 🌄

An adventure designed for those who love nature, escapism and timeless moments... ⛺

With family or friends, climb to the summit of the Tête du Torraz for a comfortable bivouac experience, where everything is provided for you to enjoy to the full, with no fuss 💆‍♀️ :

Your round trip on foot or mountain bike is guided by a professional who will adapt the route to your level. He'll help you discover the secrets of the mountains and share his passion for the alpine environment.

Once at the summit, everything is ready: tent, lunch, breakfast and picnic for the next day are included. A magical interlude awaits you 🌠

Here are some suggested walking routes (durations given for hikers):

Most accessible route (from age 8):

A 1h30 walk starting from Le Gâteau, with 400 m of positive ascent to reach the summit. The following day, a gentle return via a path with 700 m of negative ascent via La Tonaz.

🌵 Intermediate level (from age 10):

Allow around 3h30 to climb to the bivouac, starting from the Ball-Trap. You will cross the Jaillet ridges with 620 m of ascent and 150 m of descent. The return journey is on an undulating route (250 m ascent, 730 m descent).

More sporty or gentler variants are available on request. With an electric mountain bike, the possibilities are endless: an unusual and unforgettable adventure!

🐾 NEW: the Cani-Trek

The same objective, but a new way of achieving it: reach the bivouac in an original way thanks to cani-randonneuring!

What is a cani-rando?

You're attached by a tether to a Nordic dog (often a husky), which helps you move forward using its pulling power. An activity full of complicity, punctuated by the enthusiasm and loyalty of these incredible dogs 🐺

Along the way, you'll be accompanied by a musher and his pack, to reach the camp at the summit, and spend a warm evening in the heart of the mountains. The route is suitable for all levels, whether you're a sportsman or just a keen walker.

🎒 Prepare yourself without overloading: one night is enough!

Here are the essentials to pack:

A change of warm clothing (fleece or tracksuit)

A headlamp 🔦

A sports T-shirt and dry socks for the next day

Water bottle, cap, sun cream 💧

A duvet and mattress (can be hired if you don't have one)

🛌 Practical information:

Departures in the early, mid or late afternoon. Return scheduled for late morning the following day.

Rental available: mattress €10/person, duvet €22/person.

If you hire equipment, we will transport your belongings for you to the camp.

If you bring your own equipment, you can either carry it or leave it with Yann, your bivouac host, in the morning in Combloux (please let us know in advance).

🚵‍♂️ Mountain biking is included in the ‘uphill’ package.

⛔ No bivouac on Sunday evening. In the event of bad weather, the activity may be cancelled. A minimum of 4 participants is required for the bivouac to be maintained.
