FAQ❓

1️⃣ Is via ferrata recommended for people with vertigo? Via ferrata is still a high-altitude sport, which can sometimes make you a little dizzy, although the whole activity remains safe. We therefore recommend that you don't start out on routes that are too complicated, to test your ability to manage your fear of heights. Remember that the activity is carried out in single file, so don't take the risk of stopping the whole group.

2️⃣ What about safety rules? Here are the safety rules to observe:

  • Beginners should use the services of a professional.
  • Children or people with little mountaineering experience must be roped up.
  • Climb only when the weather is fine.
  • Always connect to the rope
  • Never deviate from the route: risk of falling rocks
  • Only one person between each piton

3️⃣ Is it dangerous? If you're accompanied by a professional, you'll considerably reduce the risk of accident. However, via ferrata is a sport subject to the vagaries of nature, so it's important to take all the necessary precautions.

4️⃣ Do I need to know how to climb? It's not compulsory to know how to climb. However, it can be a great help when climbing ladders or clipping quickdraws.
