Go for a snowmobile sunset 🌅❄️

Spend some time with family and friends in an exceptional setting. Our guide Romain will be delighted to welcome you at the base of Tommeuses. You'll board a snow groomer for a unique experience. As people head back to the resort, you'll be the last ones on the slopes to finish the day in style. Romain will take you to the end of the Pas de la Tovière to admire the scenery and sample local produce from Ardoit farm in Val d'Isère. From this vantage point, you can admire the Grande Sassière, La Sache, the Mont-Blanc and the Lac du Chevril, depending on the weather conditions.

Let's talk about the groomer! This room has been fitted out with care. You'll find a luminous ceiling, LED lights, comfortable benches and a sound system with the option of connecting via Bluetooth to play your own music. Everything you need to feel good and enjoy an unforgettable end to the day.

Program: 

  • Meet at the base of Tommeuses (please check time when booking)
  • Take the snow groomer up to the viewpoint at the end of the Pas de la Tovière.
  • Aperitif and tasting of local produce. Outside (conditions permitting), in the groomer or in our converted igloo. Enjoy cheese, cold meats, bread, red and white wine, mulled wine and soft drinks. 
  • After sunset, it's time to head back! Embark on a return journey to the top of the La Daille gondola or to the bottom of the resort, depending on the conditions.

This superb programme is available for 1 to 12 people.

Start of skidoo activity

Accessible only by piste, on ski or on snowboard. A Tignes liftpass is required. Our hut is situated at the bottom of the Tommeuse chairlift.

Access

  • The activity starts at the bottom of the Tommeuses chairlift (ski pass required), 2 ways to get there:
  • By ski: from the Tovière gondola or Tuff chairlift, towards the Tommeuses chairlift
  • On foot: pedestrian access only from La Daille gondola in Val D'Isère (bus stop nearby) followed by a 5 minute walk downhill, 10 minute walk uphill (possibility to take a pedestrian pass only). Please follow the pedestrian route to the base, be careful when crossing the piste and stay together. Pedestrian itinerary to follow . Ski poles are available at the top of La Daille gondola to make your descent easier. Just ask the lift personnel for them.

 

  • Return to Val d'Isère at La Daille. Our team will take you back to the gondola. Return to Tignes either by your own means, or by taking the free shuttle between Val d'Isère and Tignes (Val d'Isère - Tignes shuttle).

Equipement

  • Warm clothing for admiring the sunset. When the sun goes down, temperatures plummet.
  • If you're coming on skis, bring your own après-ski gear / snwoboots.

  • You can subscribe when finalising your reservation to an individual cancellation insurance : ASSURMIX. This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
