An original way to discover the mountain differently

Share unforgettable and bonding moments with our sled dogs! Go on an excursion to the Manchet Valley and experience a real moment of adventure. Comfortably installed in the sled, let yourself be guided by our adorable pointers and experienced mushers, enjoying breathtaking landscapes. Immerse yourself for a moment in the conditions of the far north and recharge your batteries!

⏱ Total of 30 minutes : 10 min briefing + 20 min sled ride

To each his own:

➡️ Sleigh 1 to 2 people

⚠️ If you're alone : person weighing between 110 and 130kg or taller than 1m90 (contact us if in doubt)

➡️ Sleigh 3 people

⚠️ Maximum of 2 adults and 1 child under 10 years old and under 40kg

➡️ Sleigh 4 people

⚠️ Maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 5 years old and under 20kg

⚖ The total weight of the group must not exceed 180kg, the height and the age of the participants may also reduce the number of participants per sled.

📍 The meeting point is in the Manchet valley in Val d'Isère, near the Le Piaf/Le Relais restaurant. You can also use the ‘Train Jaune’ (shuttle bus). By car, it's at the P7 car park.

⚠️ The essentials – must-reads

Participation conditions

Dog sledding is accessible from 2 years old minimum, children in baby carriers are not admitted
Pregnant women are not able to participate in this activity
All persons with medical contraindications (sprains, crutches, plaster casts, prostheses, etc.) or disabilities are welcome under certain conditions and on request only (possible depending on the type of injury/medical risk and the type of disability)

How to book

Please respect the weight and height restrictions, as the musher reserves the right to modify/refuse the number of participants per sled.
You can book several 2-person sleds in the same slot (if available), by adding additional sleds to your basket one at a time
Sledges of 3 or 4 people, please contact us
Call us on or pop up at our office the Saturday of your arrival in resort from 2pm

Equipment

Suitable outdoor clothing, such as your ski gear, with warm snow boots (no skiboots allowed)
A hat, gloves and gogles/sunglasses are strongly recommended

Insurance info and cancellation

Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended.
You can subscribe when finalising your reservation to an individual cancellation insurance : ASSURMIX. This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
