🔍Discover the downhill biking lessons offered by Evolution 2 Tignes. You will be supervised by a state-qualified mountain bike instructor. Do you want to get your first taste of downhill biking, regain your confidence on the bike or improve your technique? Everything is possible. The superbe Bike Park de Tignes & Val d'Isère. offers a wide variety of terrain to progress on.
We offer a weekly course (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) or single sessions on Wednesdays and Sundays. We can also offer you a 2-hour fitness session on Saturday or Sunday.

🟢 Pilot 1 : Beginner
This course is for the ones who are beginners in downhill biking but who already practise often mountain biking.
The aim of the course is to work on the technical elements of the descent, to overcome apprehension and to give you confidence. Several topics will be covered: braking, turns, position, trajectory, crossing, while evolving on green tracks.
One session only will take you to a first ride down a green slope.
The 4 days course will get you to acquire basic techniques and to be autonomous on green slopes.
The course is open to adults and children aged 8 and over (mountain bike club, BMX, enduro...) who have already acquired basic mountain bike techniques and are in good physical condition.
🔵 Pilot 2 : Progression
This course is for the ones who are beginners in downhill biking but who already practice often mountain biking.
The aim of the course is to work on the technical elements of the descent, to overcome apprehension and to give you confidence. Several topics will be covered: braking, turns, position, trajectory, crossing, while evolving on green tracks.
One session only will take you to a first ride down a green slope.
The 4 days course will get you to acquire basic techniques and to be autonomous on green slopes.
The course is open to adults and teenagers with some experience of downhill cycling (Pilot 1 level or equivalent).
🔴 Pilot 3 : Improvement
This course is intended for the intermediates who wish to evolve in their learning.
The aim of the course is to perfect the technical elements of the descent, to gain fluidity and speed. Several topics will be covered: braking, turns, position, trajectory, crossing, and jumps, while evolving on red/black slopes.
One section will refresh your technique.
The 4 days course will get you to perfect the techniques and to be autonomous on red/black slopes
This course is aimed at intermediate-level adults and teenagers who want to take their learning to the next level (Pilot 2 level or equivalent).
🟡 Check-up technic
Not sure if you have the minimum requirements for the beginners' course or if you like the activity? Then our Check-up Technic course is for you!
This 2-hour course is designed for occasional cyclists who want a gentle introduction to downhill biking. You stay at the bottom of the slopes!
The aim is to build your confidence and teach you the basic techniques of mountain biking (full suspension bike): basic position, braking, balance, etc.
This course prepares you to ride on the slopes, and you can then join the DH beginners' course if you want to continue learning!
