Course of the evening

Treat yourself to a moment of disconnection at an altitude of 2384m, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.

Plunge into the heart of the Alps and enjoy an extraordinary experience with the Wild Nest in Tignes, an Evolution 2 adventure. Perched at an altitude of 2,384 metres, at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, this transparent dome offers you an unforgettable starlit night, combining comfort with total immersion in the wilderness. You'll meet the Wild Nest caretaker on site for a warm welcome.

 

 

Detailed programme for the night 

 

➡️ 5pm - Arrival at the Wild Nest by your own means 🏔🥾
Expect to climb 400m in altitude from Lac de Tignes. You will meet the Wild Nest Guardian at the edge of the ski area. For safety reasons, the Guardian will accompany you across the frozen lake, which is necessary to access the Wild Nest.

🌌 A night under the stars

➡️ 7pm - Night snowshoe hike ✨

It's hard to describe what you're about to experience at an altitude of 2384m. The silence... The incredible view of these majestic mountains... And that starry sky... Accompanied by our Guardian, you'll hike the surrounding ridges on snowshoes. Magnificent views of Lac de Tignes below and the peaks of the Franco-Italian border. 

 

➡️ 8pm - Dinner and evening 🌙 🥰

Enjoy a Savoyard dinner with starter, main course and dessert. Accompanied by Savoie wines (selected by Michelin-starred chef Jean Michel Bouvier), Génépi. tea, herbal tea and coffee available. Afterwards, relax under the stars in your own dome. An unusual night...

 

🌄 Wake up at altitude

Early in the morning, you'll be served a full breakfast: pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, herbal tea and coffee. Enjoy these last moments facing the majestic peaks before making your own way back down to the resort.

💡 Did you know?

You may have some company during the night... Foxes, weasels or various birds sometimes invite themselves in front of the Wildnest dome!

Practical information

To take away

  • For the hike : Take a light backpack with your belongings for the night, water and snacks. Be careful, you will carry your own bag for the night. We provide you with the essentials, travel light!
  • It is possible to leave luggage at the Evolution2 office in Tignes Le Lac. For night snowshoeing: If you came on ski touring, bring a pair of suitable shoes (snow boots type).

At disposal at the Wild Nest:

  • Towels, gloves, sheets, soap and toilet paper
  • Slippers, hot water bottles
  • 2 extra down jackets, 2 frontal

The 180x200 bed is equipped with bedding, duvet, and Pyrenex pillows in duck feathers.

Also available: an electrical outlet to charge mobile phones, and a radio for communication with the Guardian who lives in an alpine chalet 20m from the Wild Nest.

Wild Nest Guardian

A state-qualified professional who holds professional civil liability insurance provides supervision. He accompanies you to the dome (crossing a frozen lake) and remains available nearby if necessary during the night. He organizes dinner and breakfast service. He brings you back to the meeting point the next day.

Security

The Wild Nest is equipped with a radio in connection with the professional, communication equipment which is added to the telephone. The Wild Nest is secure: quick exit from the structure and fire equipment. A retreat room (chalet) is available. The professional in charge of supervision and surveillance has a telephone to organize the alert of the mountain rescue services.
