HIKING WITH A DOG
What is Cani rando? It’s an activity that comes from the Inuit population who travel with sled dogs because of the snow.
Evolution 2 Chamonix offers you the summer version with a hike towed by a Nordic dog. The dogs are great athletes and train all year round to accompany you on the trails.
This is an “adventurous” hike aided by the power of the dog. You will therefore walk faster than on a traditional hike.
On the material side, you will be equipped with a belt around the waist, a cushioned lanyard connected to the dog that has its working harness on.

- Duration: 1h30 to 2h at 10am
🔵 Long discover session :
A beautiful day of complicity with your dog throughout this day.
- Minimum age: we welcome children from 6 years old.
- Health conditions: have a good physical condition.
- Duration: 3h30 to 4h of activity at 10am
🔴 Sporty session : NOT AVAILABLE THIS SUMMER, following work on the new gondola lift.
Take advantage of the power of the dog for the ascent of La Trapette from Argentière to Plan Joran. The return is by gondola.
- Minimum age: we welcome children from 8 years old.
- Health conditions: have a good physical condition, 700m of elevation
- Duration: 3h30 to 4h of activity, at 10am
- Day : only on Saturday and Sunday

🐕 Is it possible to do the cani-rando with your own dog?
No, it's not possible to take part in the cani-rando with your own dog. The dogs are selected and trained specifically for the activity, to guarantee safety and the smooth running of the outing.
🧍♂️ Can I follow a cani-rando outing without taking part?
Yes, a partner can follow the outing, but will not be under the responsibility of the professional.
