🔴 Aiguilles Rouges Traverse (2 days)
The Aiguilles Rouges is a mountain range in the Northern French Alps. It owes its name to the characteristic tint caused by the oxidation state of the iron in the gneiss. Its geographical orientation offers a unique viewpoint of Mont Blanc 🏔️

The particularity of the two proposed formats is to climb to over 3000m altitude on the trail (Buet 3097) if conditions allow.
Level: minimum red level (see level references below). Having already completed a minimum 1000m elevation gain mountain outing, and having already completed 2 long trail running outings on 2 consecutive days.

  • Short Format Route: Day 1 24KM 1900m ascent / Day 2 20KM 1300m ascent
  • Long Format Route: Day 1 24KM 2000m ascent / Day 2 34KM 2300m ascent
