🟒 Private Half-Day Session:
Level: Discovery / Initiation
Route: 6 to 15 km depending on the group's level and expectations
Elevation Gain: between 300m and 1000m ascent
Minimum Age: 12 years old
Group Size: maximum of 6 people

Level: Improvement
Route: 25 to 50 km depending on the group's level and expectations
Elevation Gain: between 1000m and 2500m ascent
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Group Size: maximum of 6 people

πŸ‘Ÿ Techniques Covered & Coaching:
Running on roots, scree, learning to descend and engage with more confidence on steep terrain, learning to reduce the risk of ankle sprains through foot placement techniques, optimizing effective use of poles, trail running and hiking. Individualized coaching on the terrain: managing effort based on terrain profile, altitude/body effort management, nutritional management, learning how to dress. Video analysis on the terrain and personalized advice for improvement.

Your guide accompanies you in scouting your future playground to be as well-prepared as possible on race day. Scouting, technical and physical advice: optimize your race preparation with us.
Proposed routes (not exhaustive): 10KM, Duo Γ©toilΓ©, Cross and Marathon du Mont Blanc, 90KM du Mont-Blanc, Trail des Aiguilles Rouges, Trail des Fiz, MCC, Cross du Mont-Blanc. (Please provide proof of registration for one of the desired events for the reconnaissance)
Duration: to be defined according to the requested route and your level.
Level: minimum blue level (see level references below). Having already completed a minimum 10km mountain outing, with a bib.

πŸ”΄ Aiguilles Rouges Traverse (2 days)
The Aiguilles Rouges is a mountain range in the Northern French Alps. It owes its name to the characteristic tint caused by the oxidation state of the iron in the gneiss. Its geographical orientation offers a unique viewpoint of Mont Blanc πŸ”οΈ

The particularity of the two proposed formats is to climb to over 3000m altitude on the trail (Buet 3097) if conditions allow.
Level: minimum red level (see level references below). Having already completed a minimum 1000m elevation gain mountain outing, and having already completed 2 long trail running outings on 2 consecutive days.

  • Short Format Route: Day 1 24KM 1900m ascent / Day 2 20KM 1300m ascent
  • Long Format Route: Day 1 24KM 2000m ascent / Day 2 34KM 2300m ascent


🎚️ Level Reference Criteria
Reference website Betrail: Enter your name and find your Betrail rating, which will define your level.

  • Blue level (intermediate) corresponding to 40-48.
  • Red level (advanced) corresponding to 48-56.
  • Black level (very good runner) corresponding to 56-64.
  • Purple level (expert) corresponding to 64 and above.

From the advanced level onwards, we offer the "skyrunning" product upon request.
The concept: running along mountain ridgelines and thus discovering the mountains from a different perspective. A pure approach to trail running that requires having a mountain foot (not recommended for those with vertigo).
Elevation gain: minimum 1200D+ on this profile.
Format: full day (possibility to do it half day if the group is at a black level).

To remember

Level Information

  • For a group of intermediate level, it is entirely possible to do a day trail. The distance and elevation will be adjusted according to the level.

For marathon recognitions:

  • Cross du Mont-Blanc: count a full day for any level.
  • Marathon du Mont-Blanc: count a full day for black and purple levels and two days for blue and red levels (possibility to do it in two days for all levels).
  • 90 du Mont-Blanc: only black or purple levels (recommended ++) for a 24-hour recognition and all other levels for two or three days (red level at minimum recommended ++).

Insurance and cancellation conditions

  • Please consult our General Conditions of Sale to find out about our cancellation policy.
  • Insurance: Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation (or in our offices).
    1. Cancellation:
    - This insurance covers you in the event of illness or accident preventing you from participating in your sporting activity (this must be certified by a doctor).
    - All COVID related causes are excluded.
    2. Assursport in case of an accident:
    - Assursport covers you for up to €25,000 for rescue costs in the event of a sporty activity accident.
    - No advance payment required for rescue services, including medical repatriation.
    - Sporty activity refunded up to the value of 400€
