Reference Betrail website: enter your name and find your Betrail rating to define your level.
- Blue level (intermediate) corresponding to 40-48.
- Red level (confirmed) corresponding to 48-56.
- Black level (very good runner) corresponding to 56-64.
- Purple level (expert) corresponding to 64 to more
🎯 What does coaching involve and what techniques are covered?
Running on roots, scree slopes, knowing how to go downhill with more confidence, learning how to reduce the risk of ankle sprains thanks to foot placement techniques, optimizing the effective use of poles, trail running and rando-course.
Individualized coaching in the field: effort management according to terrain profile, body altitude/effort management, food management, learning how to dress. Video analysis in the field and personalized advice on how to improve.
📍 Where is the meeting point?
The meeting place will be defined according to weather conditions and your level. The professional will contact you the day before to give you all the information.
🥾 Can an intermediate group do a day trail?
Yes, it's perfectly possible. The distance and elevation gain will be adjusted according to the group's level, to ensure an accessible, enjoyable and suitable experience for everyone.
⏱ How long do reconnaissance marathons last?
- Le cross du Mont-Blanc: count one full day for any level.
- Le Marathon du Mont-Blanc: count a full day for the black and violet level and two days for the blue and red level (possibility of doing it in two days for all levels)
- Le 90 du Mont-Blanc: only black or violet level (recommended ++) for a 24-hour reconnaissance and all other levels over two or three days (red level at least recommended ++).
