🧭 How to choose the right activity?
Hydrospeed is the most intense activity in Chamonix: you're entirely in the water, as close to the river as possible.
For a more leisurely but fun experience, opt for rafting, cano-raft or mini-raft, where you're on a boat.
🚿 Are there changing rooms?
Yes, our rafting bases are equipped with changing rooms and WCs for your convenience.
🚐 Do I need to take my car?
No, transportation from the rafting base is included. This includes: the journey to the starting point of the descent and the return to the base after the activity.
🏊 Do I need to know how to swim to take part in these activities?
Yes, knowing how to swim is compulsory. For safety reasons, we cannot accept people who do not know how to swim.
🏞️ What's the difference between Chamonix and Passy?
The river in Chamonix is more physical than in Passy.
For an introduction or first experience, we'd recommend the Passy rafting base, which is better suited to beginners and families.
📅 Is it better to do the activity in the morning or afternoon?
The morning is the ideal time to take full advantage of your activity. What's more, the wetsuits are dry, so they're more comfortable to put on, and there are more spaces available for easy parking. Last but not least, you avoid excessive temperature differences between the air and the water, which also makes your experience more pleasant.
