The team
Launched in 1988, Evolution 2 Val d'Isère is the second of the Evolution 2 adventure. Our team now has around twenty instructors and many other specialist outdoor professionals.
All our instructors speak French and English (and some, other languages too!).
Our team is professional, dynamic and full of experience, with many instructors living year round in, or near to Val d'isère.
Whatever your goals, we will share with you our passion, our enthusiasm and our knowledge of the area.

Evolution 2 The Ski and Outdoor Activities Specialist
Having followed the most rigorous and well respected training courses, our state qualified instructors desire is to pass on knowledge and share our adventure projects with you. Always respecting our philosophy: the requirement for excellence! Whether it's for a ski lesson, a parachute jump or a mountain bike descent, come and live an unforgettable experience with our outdoor specialists!
Who ? For 2 and 6 months year olds who are new to skiing (not before this age !).
Learning? Discovering the equipment, putting on and taking off your boots, getting up, sliding down a gentle slope, discovering the snowplough, discovering skiing in its broadest sense at a leisurely pace.

Who ? For 3 year olds who are new to skiing or who already have their Husky.
Learning ? First steps on snow, notion of balance, discovery of sliding: small slides facing the slope, notion of snowploughing

Who ? From 4 year olds up to 12 who are beginners or who have already had their Panda (groups organized by age and abilities).
Learning ? The children are divided by age, and the aim for the older ones is to get out of the garden quickly after a warm-up using the garden facilities. They will learn to put on and take off their skis, move around on their skis and link snowplough turns.

Who ? Children from 6 years old, able to link snowplough turns on gentle slopes or who have acquired the Yetison level.
Learning ? Climbing stairs on a gentle slope, getting up on your own after a fall, balancing games, using ski lifts, mastering snowplough turns with parallel ski crossing on green slopes.

Who ? Children who have acquired the Petit Yeti level, and have mastered the snowplough turn with parallel ski crossing on green runs.
Learning ? Step turning upstream, skating step, direct trace across the slope with edge hold, control of attitude and balance with poles, link elementary sideslip turns (snowplough release, put skis parallel to the slope and finish on a rounded sideslpi) on easy greens or blue runs.
ESF: 1ère Étoile

Who ? Children who have acquired the Yeti 1 level, approaching the parallel ski turn on green and blue runs.
Learning ? Rounded and banked sideslip, direct track over varied terrain with overhanging hollows and bumps, control of general attitude, parallel turns on blue runs.
ESF: 2ème Étoile
Oxygène : 2ème ski

For whom ? Children who have acquired the Yeti 2 level, able to link parallel turns on blue runs.
Learning ? Direct line and brake skid, use of vertical movement to initiate turns, sculling on red runs, mastery of general attitude on the front, mastery of parallel turns with use of poles on red runs.

For whom ? Children who have acquired the Yeti 3 level, mastering parallel turns and sculling on red runs.
Learning ? Perfecting all types of turns on a black runs, brake sculling, introduction to carving,varied set course, introduction to freestyle in a secure snowpark.

Who is it? Valid Super Yeti level. Children who have mastered turns on red and black runs and have been introduced to various courses (snowpark, boardercross).
What can I learn? Perfecting my technique on red and black runs, mastering short cut turns and large radii, perfecting carving, mastering all-terrain brake sculling, learning the first off-piste skiing techniques, freestyle initiation.
Who are you? Valid Yeti Rider level. Children who have mastered turns on red and black runs and want to discover off-piste skiing by developing a complete skiing technique.
What to learn? Discovering the first off-piste itineraries, perfecting techniques adapted to off-piste skiing, making my mark off-piste while controlling my speed, discovering and using safety equipment, getting up on my own after a fall off-piste.
ESF: Étoile d'Or

Who are you? Level Junior Academy 1 Acquis. He or she has already skied off-piste and would like to perfect techniques adapted to off-piste skiing and other ski disciplines.
What do they learn? Learning about different types of snow, adapting and mastering my technique to off-piste conditions, making my mark off-piste with small rhythmic turns, perfecting the use of safety equipment, recognising different types of snow, discovering more technical off-piste itineraries, etc.
Who is it for? Junior Academy 2 level skiers who are comfortable off-piste and want to discover more technical routes.
Learning objectives? Learn and develop their skills in powder, steep slopes, skiing in the forest and on all types of snow. Learn to master natural jumps as well as in the SnowPark.
Oxygène : Ski d'Or
Who ? Good skier/snowboarder looking for new sensations,
Wishing to discover and/or improve their freestyle skills in the snowpark zone and off-piste (Backountry).
Learning ? Learn and perfect your freestyle technique (rotations / grabs,...), perfect your style, learn to spot a line in an off-piste area, develop your ability to shred stations safely on all types of terrain.
Who ? People who are complete beginners and want to discover the pleasure of sliding.
Learning ? Discover the equipment, putting on and taking off your skis, moving on a flat area, keeping your balance in a direct track, stopping in snowplough, first changes of direction.

Learning ? Controlling speed, going on blue runs, using the snowplough only when initiating the turn. Reinforce acquired techniques.

Learning ? Discover new disciplines like moguls, freestyle or off-piste, strengthen your carving, adapt your technique to the terrain.

Who is it for ? Beginners, children and adults from 8 years old.
Learning ? To be autonomous with the snowboard, to trace a direct board flat in one foot, to be autonomous on the ski lifts, to make a dead leaf frond/back, to learn the turns on blue slope, to evolve in safety on the slope.
ESF: Snowboarding Discovery
Oxygène : I'm learning to ride
Who is it for ? People able to turn on both sides (frontside and backside) on blue runs.
Learning ? Linking turns on blue and red runs (easy), controlling your speed in all circumstances, managing your balance and speed in transition zones (flats, slopes, etc.), being able to make small jumps while sliding, introduction to flat, discovery of the snowpark.
ESF: 1st snowboard
Oxygène : I'm learning to ride / Intermediate
Who is it for ? People able to turn on both sides (frontside and backside) on easy blue and red runs.
Learning ? Linking turns of different radii on red slopes, linking switch turns on blue or green slopes, mastering sliding rotations (180° and 360°), perfecting jumped rotations, initiation to the different modules of the snowpark, discovery of snowboarding in different types of snow.
ESF: 1st snowboard
Oxygène : I'm learning to ride / Intermediate
Who is it for ? People able to turn on both sides (frontside and backside) on red runs.
Learning ? Linking turns of different radii on red and black slopes, discovery of cut turns, perfecting practice in all types of snow and discovery of safety equipment, deepening of different tricks (ollie, switch...), perfecting freestyle in a snowpark, knowing how to adjust your equipment.
ESF: 2nd snowboard

Are you keen to discover snowshoeing and enjoy walking? This walk is for you.
To give you an idea of the type of walk:

Do you like walking and doing sport? Whether you're a beginner or an expert, this walk is for you.

Do you like to do sport regularly and have you already done some snowshoeing? During these walks you will have a few sustained climbs. This walk is for you.

Do snowshoe walks hold no secrets for you and are you very sporty? You'll have plenty of sustained climbs. This walk is for you.
