CLIMB AND REACH THE PEAKS
Chamonix offers an ideal playground for anyone interested in rock climbing.
In a peaceful setting between lake and forest, the Gaillands climbing site is where this activity generally takes place. It is a real paradise for the whole family.
Supervised by a High Mountain Guide, you will evolve on the various routes that this climbing wall has to offer.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert at climbing, Evolution 2 offers different levels in its climbing school: initiation, improvement, expert... Everyone can enjoy this activity at their own pace!
Two options are available: you can climb in a group or book a session with a private instructor.
Details about your climbing session:
- Required level: beginners, intermediate, expert, children (from 3 years old in private session and from 10 years old in group).
- Duration: half day or full day.

The guide will provide all safety equipment : climbing harness, helmet, ropes, snap hooks. If you have your own equipment you may bring it with you.
- Rock climbing shoes (you can rent the equipment in our partner shop SANGLARD : 9€ per person)
- Appropriate sports clothing
- Backpack with water and snacks.
- Sunscreen / Sunglasses

Insurances : Insurance is strongly recommended. There are 2 types of individual insurance to which you can subscribe when finalising your reservation : cancellation or rescue insurance.
🚌 Is it possible to climb somewhere else than Les Gaillands?
Yes, if you take a day with a private guide, it is possible to travel. However, you may be asked to pay a fee for transport outside the Chamonix valley.
🧗♂️ Can the lesson be cancelled?
Only the guide can cancel an activity due to bad weather. In this case, we will suggest that you reschedule for another day, use the credited amount for another activity, or receive a refund.
