Schneider Electric reached out to us to organize an afternoon and an outdoor evening event, aiming to add a playful break and a friendly atmosphere to their seminar. The requirements included:
Fun and sporty games
Building team spirit
Competitive employees
A private venue in a natural setting
An intense activity for the evening
And above all, laughter and a great atmosphere
We then suggested our "Challenge Cup," held directly on our private ski slope, usually reserved for our ski school. This was followed by a Paret sledding descent from the Grands Montets ski area.
What is the Challenge Cup? It’s a competitive team-building event where several teams face off in different workshops. That day, the program included: The Shepherd Dog, Catapults, Hockey, Human Curling, and for the finish, Sumo Wrestling.
The Paret is a traditional wooden sledge from the French Alps, once used by schoolchildren and locals to descend snowy slopes faster than on foot. With Evolution 2, the Paret experience means taking the very last cable car to find yourself alone on the mountain.
The machines stop, the silence surrounds you, and you watch the sunset over the peaks. This privileged moment is supervised by certified instructors who will guide you safely through your descent.
As expected, the employees were highly competitive and thoroughly enjoyed facing off in fun and athletic games throughout the afternoon. The Paret descent brought this interlude to a close in a harmonious and playful way.
Furthermore, the Grands Montets setting made the experience both beautiful and entertaining. With the perfect weather on our side, the Challenge Cup team building and the Paret descent were a resounding success.
