Here are 3 tips for choosing the right mountain bike
- Make sure it's ‘full suspension’, which means it has both front (fork) and rear suspension! This makes it easier to cushion and overcome obstacles. 🚧
- Check the brakes! As a general rule, mountain bike brakes are disc brakes, and have a hydraulic mechanism! It is vital to check that the brakes and hydraulic system are working properly, to avoid the risk of an accident 🚨
- Check the size of the bike! When sitting on the saddle, both toes should be touching the ground! A bike that is too small or too big is uncomfortable and prevents good progress! 📈
