Looking for a gentle walk accessible to all? The Chemin des Myrtilles is the ideal hike for beginners, or simply to enjoy a moment in nature without difficulty. It's the easiest and most accessible route from the center of La Rosière resort, perfect for an outing with family or friends.

You'll make your way through an abundance of nature, between forests and clearings, with a beautiful diversity of Alpine flora and fauna. And of course, in season, you can even pick a few wild blueberries 🫐 !

👉 You can do this hike on your own, unaccompanied, thanks to clear signposting and a well-marked itinerary.
But if you prefer to share the experience, an accompanied group hike can also be a great opportunity to meet new people and learn more about the local environment.

Aiguille du Clapey

Fancy a beautiful alpine hike with exceptional views of the Vanoise and Beaufortain massifs? The Aiguille du Clapey route takes you gradually up through the typical mountain landscapes of the Tarentaise.

The route begins amongst mountain pastures and forest tracks before climbing towards more rocky terrain. As you climb, the views open up widely onto the surrounding peaks, offering a high-mountain setting very typical of Savoie.

Once at altitude, the panorama becomes the real highlight of the hike: you can see the peaks of the Beaufortain massif, the surrounding valleys and, on a clear day, a very distinct sense of alpine immensity.

It is a fairly strenuous but steady hike, with no major technical difficulties on the standard route. However, the approach to the summit is very exposed and requires sure-footedness as well as a certain degree of confidence on exposed terrain. This makes it a great outing for experienced hikers, provided they are comfortable in this type of environment.

Mont Miravidi

Fancy a wild and spectacular hike with views of the great Alpine peaks? Mont Miravidi (3,066 m) is a high-mountain route located in the Grées Alps, on the border between the Tarentaise and Italy.

The trail starts in a mountain pasture setting before quickly gaining altitude. Very soon, the landscape becomes more rocky: torrents, scree slopes, steep gradients and sections that sometimes take you off the beaten track give the route a distinctly high-mountain feel.

Throughout the ascent, the scenery gradually opens up to reveal an exceptional panorama. You’ll enjoy remarkable views of Mont Pourri, the Vanoise and the neighbouring Italian massifs. The summit area offers an impressive 360° viewpoint, with a sense of isolated, wild high mountains.

This is a demanding hike, reserved for experienced hikers, requiring a good sense of direction and familiarity with mountainous terrain.
