Tignes Frozen Lake Races
The Frozen Lake Races take place every year on the frozen lake in Tignes, at an altitude of 2,100 metres. This unique sporting event offers several running race formats on a 3 km loop laid out directly on the ice, surrounded by the peaks of the Haute-Tarentaise.
Organised by Evolution2 Tignes, this high-altitude race is open to both experienced runners and those looking to challenge themselves, whether solo, as a pair, or as part of a team!

All routes follow the same 3 km loop on the frozen lake in Tignes:
- High-altitude half marathon – 21.097 km, +210 m / -210 m (ages 18+)
- 9 km – +60 m / -60 m (ages 14+)
- 6 km – +30 m / -30 m (ages 14+)

Location and Access
Start on the frozen lake of Tignes, at 2100 m altitude, easily accessible from Tignesespace.
Bib Pickup
- The day before the race: at Tignesespace, from 5pm to 8pm.
- On race day: on-site, from 7:30am to 7pm.

Rewards
A finisher medal is awarded to all participants. Goodies and an extra medal for the top 3 in each category.
