📍Passy base: Located at the foot of Mont Blanc, this base provides access to the calmer and more scenic part of the river. Ideal for a gentle descent, with the family or for a first experience.

The Isère: the ideal playground for whitewater enthusiasts!

🌟 Considered one of the most beautiful rivers in France, the Isère is a must for water activities in Savoie, particularly rafting and hydrospeed.

🏞️ With a rating between levels II and IV, it offers a variety of descents suitable for all skill levels in a spectacular natural setting. Its flow is regulated by the Tignes dam, allowing for safe and continuous use from May to September.

⛰️ Located near iconic resorts such as La Rosière, Tignes, Val d'Isère, Les Arcs, and La Plagne, the Isère is the perfect starting point for an exciting summer adventure.

📍 From Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Centron, over more than 20 km, the river offers a multitude of routes accessible from the age of 6, for families as well as sports enthusiasts looking for thrills.

Landry base :

  • Family discovery: From 10 years old, accompanied by an adult, 45 minutes of navigation.
  • Beginners: From 12 years old, accompanied by an adult, 1 hour 20 minutes of navigation.
  • Progression in the gorges: From 14 years old with experience, 1 hour 30 minutes of navigation.
  • Advanced: From 16 years old with experience, 2 hours 15 minutes of navigation.

Bourg Saint Maurice base :

  • Discover the Isère: Ages 14 and up, or ages 13 and up with a responsible adult, 1 hour and 15 minutes of navigation.
  • Plus Isère: Ages 16 and up, for experienced paddlers, 1 hour and 30 minutes of navigation.

⛰️ Easily accessible from the resorts of Chamonix, Passy, or Saint-Gervais, it is the ideal getaway for a day full of thrills.

🌊 With a range of routes suitable for all levels, the Arve offers an immersive experience in the heart of nature, with refreshing rapids and spectacular scenery.

  • Passy base - Hydrospeed Discovery: 8 km descent on the Arve, facing Mont Blanc, accessible from 11 years old, duration approximately 2 hours, class 2.
  • Chamonix base - Hydrospeed Sportif: 6 km descent on the upper part of the Arve, accessible from 14 years old with experience, duration approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, class 2-3.

The Dranse: an aquatic adventure not to be missed!

📍 Located in Haute-Savoie, the Dranse rises in the mountains before flowing into Lake Geneva, where it is the second largest tributary after the Rhône. This alpine river is renowned for its dynamic rafting routes and has even hosted the World Canoe and Kayak Championships.

⛰️ Just a stone's throw from the Portes du Soleil resorts—Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Châtel—it offers an exceptional natural setting for a sporting outing with friends or family.

  • Hydrospeed – Thonon: Descent on the Dranse, route defined according to the group's level, accessible from 12 years old, duration approximately 1 hour on the river (2.5 hours in total), class 2 to 3.

What is hydrospeed?

Hydrospeed, also known as whitewater swimming, is a thrilling river sport where you descend a watercourse using a float, fins, and a wetsuit. It’s a dynamic outdoor activity perfect for safely experiencing the power of the river.

What should I bring?

Bring a swimsuit, a towel, and possibly a change of clothes.

What equipment is provided for hydrospeed?

Is included: wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, knee pads, fins, and float.

Do I need to be athletic to do hydrospeed?

A normal level of fitness is enough. The activity is adjusted to the group’s ability.

Can I come with a group?

Absolutely! Hydrospeed is perfect for groups, families, friends, bachelor/bachelorette parties or team-building events.

Where can I do hydrospeed with Evolution 2?

Hydrospeed is available at several Evolution 2 bases: Les Arcs 1800LandryThonon-les-BainsChamonix/Passy, and Val Cenis. Each location offers a unique natural setting and routes adapted to all levels.

Can I wear glasses during the activity?

Not ideal, but if you can’t see a thing without them—no worries! You can wear your glasses as long as they’re securely strapped with a retainer cord.

Looking for an experience that combines adrenaline, fun, and nature ? Welcome to the world of hydrospeed, also known as white-water swimming ! It's the perfect activity for thrill-seekers and water lovers. Equipped with a float and flippers, you'll navigate the rapids, gliding over the water while feeling every swirl and wave. White-water swimming is great to enjoy with family or friends, offering moments of pure fun and excitement. It's a sporty activity, but you don't need to be a pro to try it ! With our professional guides, anything is possible.

Accessible from the age of 12, you can choose from various courses depending on your skill level.

Where to swim in white water?

With Evolution 2, you can enjoy hydrospeed in some of the most beautiful natural settings of the French Alps. Here are a few key locations where you can try it:

  • In Savoie, the Isère River is a prime destination for hydrospeed. It offers courses suitable for various levels. The Doron de Bozel is an excellent choice, perfect for beginners and thrill-seekers alike.
  • In Haute-Savoie, the Dranse River is known for its dynamic rapids and varied sections, making it ideal for practitioners of all levels.

These regions are perfect for hydrospeed due to their diverse river characteristics, ranging from calm waters for beginners to turbulent rapids for the more experienced.
