Charly R

Charly has been skiing since he was two years old and followed a classic path through the ski club's alpine skiing competition programme, becoming an instructor at the age of 17 in Flumet, then in Praz-sur-Arly, before continuing with Evolution 2 in Megève. 

A word from Charly:

"From the age of 15, my passion for freeskiing (freestyle and freeride) drove me to explore every aspect of the sport. 

The surrounding mountains held few secrets for me and my friends, and our desire to discover more quickly took us to other major resorts in France and other countries such as the United States, in search of ever steeper slopes and ever bigger snow parks. 

With a passion for technique and adrenaline and backed by my teaching experience, I am now eager to help both experienced and novice snowboarders discover the peaks of Megève and Chamonix and those closer to the area. 

Skiing is my life, and I am just as passionate about nature. 

At 37, I feel like I still have my whole life ahead of me to fill with new experiences, share great moments and create new memories... what a life! And when I see the big smiles on your faces at the end of the day, I tell myself that I have chosen the right slope to earn my living. 

My many trips between two winters have given me the opportunity to become fluent in English and Italian.
