I’m Sylvain, AKA Silver, a qualified instructor with a passion for skiing and snowboarding.

I was born in France and moved at the age of 3 to Seattle where my love for the mountains grew stronger as the years past. Skiing on Mount Rainier with my family and friends quickly became the highlight of my teenage years.

Moving back to my home country and discovering the French Alpes and all they had to offer was mind blowing.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been lucky enough to teach at Evolution 2 in the beautiful Tarentaise region. With my wife and our 5- year-old son, we live near Bourg ST Maurice, surrounded by mountains, rivers and forests, a truly extraordinary playground.

I’m looking forward to meeting you again to share unforgettable moments on and off the slopes!

I had an incredible day with Sylvain, a ski instructor at Sainte-Foy Val-d'Isère and Tignes. Not only does he speak excellent English, which made communication easy, but he also demonstrated great professionalism throughout the day. Technically, I have nothing to say: I had a lot of fun skiing safely, both on and off-piste. I highly recommend Sylvain to anyone looking to improve while having fun!
