The lessons I’ve had with Xavier over the past couple of seasons have improved my technique and significantly increased my confidence. He breaks down the technical aspects of skiing in a way that is easy to understand which makes improvement almost immediate. His calm and friendly attitude makes the lessons really enjoyable even when he’s challenging you! Whatever your level of skiing, I highly recommend Xavier as an instructor.

I have had several private 1:1 ski lessons with Xav on a recent trip, which culminated in an off piste lesson. Xav is a fantastic teacher, who really is able to help you grow as a skier; from helping me to identify bad habits which I had picked up, reducing tension in my body, improving my skills and technique, whilst supporting me to feel safe. The location of our off piste lesson was amazing. He installed confidence through understanding my abilities and challenging me as he knew I had it in me. My confidence grew, tension reduced and as Xav would say I could “feel the mountain”. Thank you Xav! Those first track memories will last a lifetime! I have recommended him to anyone visiting the local area.

Xav quickly picks up on any weaknesses or poor technique and provides corrective drills to improve performance. He also demonstrates excellent tips for staying safe on the pistes. With a mixture of suggestion and praise he makes you feel more confident after a session.

I highly recommend Xav to anyone who is looking to improve their skiing. He is clear and calm with his instructions and concentrates on technique and skiing safely. I now feel confident to ski any slope so I have more fun as well as feeling as though I’m actually skiing rather than just getting from top to bottom.

My daughter age 8 has skied with “Uncle” Xav for 5 years.She is so excited to seem him year on year!

Xav is like a member of our family, I can’t recommend him enough. Kind, caring experienced with exceptional patience. My daughter can ski beautifully with confidence that she can get down anything! It’s about finding the right balance with young children & Xav combines technique with fun.
