Evolution 2 offers rafting trips in the Alps, in Savoie and Haute-Savoie, on various rivers (Isère, Dranse, Arve).

Rafting combines discovery, thrills, and safety, with packages tailored to families, beginners, and more experienced participants.

Each base provides equipment (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, shoes), professional supervision, transfer to and from the starting point, and a safety briefing.

Thonon-les-Bains – rafting on the Dranse River

Thonon-les-Bains – rafting on the Dranse River

Calmer, but no less appealing: the Dranse River in Thonon-les-Bains is perfect for rafting. Evolution 2 Thonon offers:

A discovery trip, accessible from age 6, ideal for families: a peaceful route to discover the thrills without excess.

A more dynamic “rodeo” descent for those who want a little more excitement.

The Dranse is a multifaceted river, alternating between gentle passages and more turbulent areas, with a rich natural setting— green banks, wooded areas, and surrounding hills.

Around Thonon, you can round off your adventure with walks along Lake Geneva, visits to lakeside villages, boat trips or paddleboarding, or even stroll through local markets and enjoy Savoyard cuisine.

Landry – rafting on the Isère River

Landry – rafting on the Isère River

Here, the Isère River becomes the setting for more technical rafting, but open to various skill levels. The center offers several levels of descent (from class II to IV depending on the section), with iconic rapids such as “la machine à couper le jambon” (the ham slicer) or “les moutons” (the sheep), and geological curiosities such as the Centron Gorges.

You can raft in groups of 6 to 7 people, always accompanied by a guide, in a breathtaking alpine setting.

The surrounding valley offers a wide range of activities: hiking, mountain biking, exploring traditional mountain villages, waterfalls, or even relaxing in natural areas. The center also offers other water activities (hydrospeed, canoe rafting, etc.).

Chamonix – rafting on the Arve River

Chamonix – rafting on the Arve River

In the heart of the Alps, the Arve River becomes an exhilarating aquatic playground in the summer. With Evolution 2 Chamonix, you can descend a 6 km stretch of class 2 to 3 rapids, offering a mix of thrills and wild landscapes.

The classic descent takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour on the water, but the entire activity (briefing, transfer, equipment) can take around 2 hours.

You will skirt cliffs, cross powerful currents, and tackle calmer passages. The Chamonix base is ideally located near the Montenvers train station for easy access.

In addition to rafting, Chamonix offers a thousand possibilities: hiking, via ferrata, canyoning, mountain biking, exploring alpine refuges, and cable car rides. After your exertions, stroll through the narrow streets, take part in guided tours on geology, or relax in a mountain café.
