Want a wellness retreat in the mountains ?

You will be dressed in a waterproof suit, specially designed for ice floating, typically made of neoprene or waterproof material, which keeps you buoyant while protecting you from the cold and moisture.

Underneath the suit, wear thermal clothing that wicks away moisture and keeps you warm. Wear gloves and a hat to protect your hands and head while staying comfortable, along with thick socks and sunglasses. This outfit ensures not only your comfort during ice floating but also your safety by keeping you warm and dry in the winter environment.

A little history

The initial ideas for ice floating stem from Scandinavian traditions, where similar activities existed in icy environments. Scandinavians have long sought ways to enjoy the winter nature while staying active. The modern version of ice floating emerged in the 2010s, when wellness professionals and adventurers began exploring the concept of floating on frozen lakes. What an AMAZING experience in an amazing setting!

Alban - the host a was really great at welcoming and setting us up - preparing us a very valuable tea to enjoy on the spot 😇 and kindly taking pictures and giving us some space!
The icefloating is just so extraordinary - relaxing, like an ongoing massage, and an exceptionaĺ experience of "yielding - absolute surrender!". I did not want to get out and could easily have had a nap in the sun!
And -against all odds - it is NOT cold at all!

To sum up - great experience with both physical and emotional benefits!
Can't recommend more and can't wait to do it again during our next trip - hopefully at night time in tignes 💫🌖
