Good lesson after a long break from skiing

I booked lessons for a party of 7.
The two beginners had 3 group lessons wth Jerome. They both thought Jerome was really great (and they are both inveterate complainers so that is saying something). In addition they didn't want to be late for Jerome's lessons (despite not being early risers)! One of the beginner's was navigating steep blue slopes with control on the 3rd day (e.g. Mont Blanc and Pierre Blanches). Great job, Jerome!
I booked an extra lesson for the beginners. They wanted Jerome but Jerome wasn't available. They had Bruno who was also really great despite having to follow Jerome! We tried to get more lessons but Evolution 2 were fully booked for the rest of the week.
The 3 intermediate level 1 and 2 skiers had Lionel for two 2hr lessons. Lionel was a very popular instructor with the group and the group really felt the progression in their skill level.
Myself and another intermediate level 3 skier had Vero. We really enjoyed our lessons with Vero. I had two 2 hr lessons. Vero was great fun and didn't pull any punches when it came to giving critical feedback. Vero used various different techniques to get us to learn how to carve, I can't say we were the best students but Vero didn't give up. Taking us from no carving at all to partial carving to carving most of the turn if not consistently. After the lessons I knew exactly what to practise: let the skis fall 1-2-3, pressure, pressure, pressure, stand, flatten skis, repeat (in a French accent of course) . Vero also took me through the trees off piste for a bit of fun (can't say I was terribly in control) and gave me some instruction on a steep mogul black run (which I got down in one piece). Thank you Vero for your infectious enthusiasm and radical candour!
In summary, every instructor is to be highly recommended, which is unusual for ski schools in France in my experience. Great job Jerome, Bruno, Lionel and Vero, and Evolution 2!

best in the morning when it's hot, otherwise hot rock = sweaty fingers. The rock is exposed to the sun but Alex will take you a little further on to less exposed rock.
And don't forget your slippers, which you can hire from Sanglard in Chamonix for less than 10 euros.

What an AMAZING experience in an amazing setting!

Alban - the host a was really great at welcoming and setting us up - preparing us a very valuable tea to enjoy on the spot 😇 and kindly taking pictures and giving us some space!
The icefloating is just so extraordinary - relaxing, like an ongoing massage, and an exceptionaĺ experience of "yielding - absolute surrender!". I did not want to get out and could easily have had a nap in the sun!
And -against all odds - it is NOT cold at all!

To sum up - great experience with both physical and emotional benefits!
Can't recommend more and can't wait to do it again during our next trip - hopefully at night time in tignes 💫🌖

J'ai réservé une formation 1:1 avec Christopher d'Evolution2 à Avoriaz via Ski Bro. C'était facile de réserver et Christoph était prêt à partir à l'heure convenue et nous a ramenés à Avoriaz à l'heure à la fin de la leçon. Il m'a donné de nombreux conseils, étape par étape sur chaque piste, en me montrant comment faire, puis en me laissant pratiquer. Nous avons incorporé de nombreuses pistes d'Avoriaz, autour des Lindarets, Chatel et retour. Ma technique s'est considérablement améliorée tout au long de la journée et l'expérience a été très agréable.

I booked my kids (10 & 13) in for half term week. Both instructors were brilliant and group sizes were small meaning the don't just end up following a snake of other kids down the piste. Both kids were able to explore at their own level and push beyond the level of the group where the instructor was able to to. Would definitely book again with Evolution2

I took private lesson for my 4yo son in La Rosiere. It was his first time skiiing. Instructor was on time and friendly. Suggested to go to beginners slope first and it was valuable.

It is with some reluctance (not to say a real fear ...) that I embarked with my two daughters 19 and 12 years old in this descent on the Isère in rafting yesterday with Evolution2. Alex who guided us and kindly rescued me after an unexpected fall, manages his passengers wonderfully, with humor and kindness, the landscape is beautiful and despite the cold water and the cold outside temperature too, we had a great time, rich in emotions, sharing, laughter and discovery.

We also went on a dog sledding trip, which was incredible! The musher really explained his job and the important relationship with the dogs.

The booking process was easy and our guide, Joel, contacted us the night before to plan our guided day. Joel was incredibly kind and knowledgeable of the area. Absolutely, very good and patient instructors. Lot of knowledge of the slopes they know exactly where to take you. There skill level is very high. I have personally had lessons for the past 3 years which is when I started skiing at the age of 65. I will now go down quite happily any red run. All down to the ski lesson.

I booked three separate beginner ski lessons for my friends who had never been skiing. They all said that their lessons with their individual instructors were brilliant and really helped them gain confidence on the slopes, being able to stop, turn and go slowly especially for their first time. Our children took ski lessons this week with Hugo (yeti3) and Baptiste (super yeti). A wonderful discovery! Our children have never loved their lessons and their teachers so much. The lessons were great (with one day off and one full day in the middle of the week, learning how to use avalanche transceivers, introduction to off-piste skiing, varied and fun routes) in small groups. We had enrolled my 4 year old daughter in Yetison group lessons but she was completely stressed. One of her instructors, super Anouk, took her under her wing by offering us private lessons. Just back from a week in Tignes. I had a week with Cami on the red/black group, whilst my wife was with Andi in the green group. Both instructors were absolutely outstanding. I saw real improvement, having never had a full weeks instruction before. Cami pushed me to my limit, whilst making sure I always new I was in capable hands. In the green group, my wife's improvement was obvious as her confidence grew. No question that I would book Evolution 2 again, next time I am in Tignes.

After years of ESF, this year we entrusted our children to Evolution 2 Tignes. What a pleasant surprise! Our sons aged 15 and 10 finally benefited from in-depth individualized technical advice! Their progress and their enjoyment of skiing have increased tenfold. The monos are also very attentive to the little ones.

We've just returned from another fantastic week with Evolution 2 La Rosière. This is our 3rd holiday with them. Our children finished the week of Yeti 2 lessons. Their instructor Pierre was fantastic with them! They were really looked after and really loved it. Their ability improved a lot after the week. They had morning lessons and on Thursday, they crossed the Italian border for a full day, including a pizza stop! It was incredible for them.

First ever lesson on snow after 2 lessons on a dry ski slope. I had been skiing for two days on my own, and the lesson I had with Daniel was absolutely top notch. He was a great instructor, friendly easy to get along with and made his instructions so clear. I felt I learnt more in 90 minutes with his than I did in several hours at a dry slope. His knowledge and the way he was able to demonstrate how this improved my skiing was just so easy to understand and allowed me to progress quickly. I could not recommend a lesson with these instructors any more highly.

Perfect run in packraft, a kind of inflatable kayak to navigate on the river. Teached by Malo and Gabin it was a really nice a afternoon.

Big family, want to do sports activities during our summer holidays, so here we are at Evolution 2 to book a canyoning outing and a rafting outing (at reasonable prices)!

Both sessions were absolutely awesome!
A rather arduous canyoning course for beginners but the guide was very encouraging and had a lot of humor. So we feel good, we jump, we glide, we dive, we pass safely!
The same goes for rafting. We have chosen the rodeo route that is suitable even for beginners. Here again, we are well accompanied by a guide who is attentive and who strives to make the experience pleasant.

Yet we were able to experience great sensations including the possibility for those who wish to jump more than 5m high in the Isere (no obligation). Great experiences with Evolution 2 Thonon-Les-Bains.
First of all, each kid attends a 5 days course, My 10 yo girl on the the Lake course (sailing, paddling, kayaking, rafting) and my 13 yo son on the Lake & River course (Rafting, hydrospeeding, paddling, kayaking, kayak raft). They descovered one activity per day during a week, that was really nice and they enjoyed a lot.
Then, we practiced rafting with all family ! A joyfull and good mood experience !
Thank to Sybille who was helpfull on the river and the sweet and kind Manon who guided on the Lake. We can't forget Camille for the nice picture on the river !

When your children tell you "I don't want to ski anymore, the teacher (esf) is too stupid" and you are looking for another ski school. And you come across Evolution2.
Happiness for children, well-organized, well-supervised lessons BUT above all teachers who listen to their students, who certainly push them but in a good mood. A very good experience with the family, we did the 2.5-hour rafting descent. The staff was very kind and pleasant. We had to wear full suits (short-sleeved suit + long-sleeved vest + water shoes). We were provided with life jackets and helmets, and the descent was very enjoyable, with both calm moments and more sporty ones. The rapids were fun, but we expected more. I recommend allocating enough time for it as it was very enjoyable and family-friendly.

Colin guided us for two half days this week and was great for skiing, lots of useful observations and tips on skiing. He also took us safely off-piste to the higher slopes where we wouldn't have gone without him.

Very nice and fun to ski, but you have to book in advance as he was busy the other days and we lost! Evolution 2 is also suitable for children. But they were full when we arrived.

Rafting on the family discovery trail (with 2 children aged 10 and 14). There were 7 of us on the boat.
Very well supervised, very nice instructor (Olivier Dutt) who made us discover the pleasure of this sport and the charm of Isère.
The children (like the parents) appreciated the eddies of the torrent, and the "shocks" on the traps of the course.
No difficulty, accessible to beginners on this discovery course. The complete equipment provided by the club makes it possible not to get cold in the water (because possibility to swim on some quieter passages).

My husband and I had 2 great private lessons with Cecile from Évolution. Despite the weather she made the lessons fun and catered for the different levels of ability of myself and my husband. As there was insufficient snow on Chamonix golf course, the event was moved to La Tour where there was plenty of snow.
The dogs were amazing, and I loved my short sledge up and down the field. The initial instruction was mostly in French, and my French is not very good, and their English was limited. However we managed with a bit of both languages and demonstration. I was able to get the dogs and sledge to stop and start. We followed the lead sledge, and he kept an eye on the other sledges. I would love to do,it again, but live too fa away!
It was physically harder than I thought, but I enjoyed that.

I just wanted to write this review of my experience taking beginner ski school from 22nd to 28th of December. Thomas was an absolutely fantastic instructor, I had a fantastic time. He was always willing to help and answer any questions I had and made it fun for the group.

He was also always helpful to people around him whether they were part of evolution 2 ski school or not, whether it was scooping up kids who had fallen on the button lift or picking up litter people had left on the slopes, he was an excellent representative for evolution 2 and the reason I would book again!

Me and my friend booked a dog sledding experience as passengers. It took place on a golf course in Les Praz....10 minutes from Chamonix centre, but you felt like you were in the wilderness, surrounded by trees and magnificent views of Mont Blanc. The entire experience was breathtaking. I loved every minute of it, especially spending time fussing the dogs.
Thanks again Evolution2. I will most definitely be returning very very soon!

We took the 3 day group lessons for snowboard with Laurent as beginners. By the end of the course we were able to go down a blue slope (big success!!)
Highly recommend the school! Our experience was great. The prof takes the basics seriously but leaves enough room to make sure everyone is having fun and being safe.

For the second year running we have used Evolution 2 for our snowshoeing, this year we requested the wonderful & funny Tatiana as she had been our wonderful guide last year. She took into consideration the low cloud cover & so took us walking along the valley & in woodlands where the views of the mountains weren't the main objective, instead she gave us the history of the villages we walked through & information on the nature around us. On the second day the sun shone & se we went up into the mountains where it was all about the views! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Evolution 2

Trapper camp activity, meal in a yurt + toboggan ride.
Exceptional experience, we spent a totally different and rejuvenating moment in the heart of this trapper's camp. The yurt in which we enjoyed the fondue was spacious and the candlelight atmosphere made the moment magical.

After this good meal, we went down on a sledge for 3km at night where we really had fun!

The value for money is really incredible compared to some restaurants in the resort, I highly recommend

On February 15, we discovered snowshoeing during a 2-hour night outing. We had a great time with a guide who taught us lots of things about the mountains. The context wasn't ideal (lack of snow), but we were able to discover this sport, and the exchanges were also good times.
We had signed up for dinner at the relais des communailles, a magnificent 😍 and delicious😋 place to discover....but our "rando" outfit made us a little uncomfortable in this beautiful place with other guests on their 31st.

Despite a fairly standard first contact at the Tignes office, I enjoyed the rest of the journey for family rafting. A call to ensure that we had the right information for the meeting place, schedules respected without sacrificing “safety” time, and above all a captain on the raft who knew how to create a crazy atmosphere with a group who didn't know each other!! Alex is tall and allowed us to really discover this activity in a fun and sporting way!!!

We took the snowmobile tour with an optional aperitif. No regrets! Yes, we're on a tour and we have to follow the guide, but we're not going on the ski slopes. But that's enough for us to get the feel of things and enjoy the moment.

A very good family experience, we did the rafting descent of 2h30. The staff was very nice and very pleasant. We had to put on full suits (short sleeve suit + long sleeve vest + water shoes) We had lifejackets and helmets and the descent was very nice, there were quiet moments and other more sporting moments. The rapids were fun but we expected more. I recommend to give it his time as it was very fun and family

Fantastic week with Evolution 2 La Rosiere. The yeti academy's lessons were excellent and the children loved them. Evolution provided our children with lunches and we also book the snow club for the afternoon. The children loved the sledging, making snowmen and toasting marshmallows in the forest. Overall we couldn't fault the childcare or lessons provided and will definitely book again for next year.

I just wanted to thank Evolution 2 for a fantastic week of skiing. The instructors were great with our group of five kids who didn't want to go home! A special thanks to Marc who taught my son Seb the Yeti 1. Seb can lack concentration and doesn't always listen, Marc was patient and as a result Seb is looking forward to skiing again. We also thought the snow club was excellent. We will definitely be using Evolution 2 from now on.

This weekend was great again: the activities (Rafting and Devalbike), the welcome with Sophie, and our facilitators Théo and Alexandre who took the time to explain to us, make us enjoy as much as possible, and debrief afterwards.

Due to a lack of snow, the activity had finally been cancelled a few days before our arrival. What a pleasant surprise when we finally arrived in the area, the phone rang and we were told that they had managed to find a spot for sled dogs. We had a great time in the company of the adorable pooches and the very pleasant staff, who gave us lots of explanations. We recommended you to a lot of people who were leaving during the February vacations! We'll be back to take part in your activities for sure!

We were welcomed by Ophélie to organize an activity, off the beaten track, during our weekend with friends. It is with a big smile that she advised us the aperi'glisse.
We went to have a drink at sunset, then by the fire, just after the slopes closed! It was a dream!
Then the instructor Nathalie (very fun) explained us how to take in hand our yooner, headlamp with the helmet, to join the bottom of the tracks. A pure moment of fun between friends in the moonlight! Thank you Ophelie, thank you Nathalie and thank you evolution 2! We will come back :)

Ophélie was on hand to help us organize an off-the-beaten-track activity for a weekend with our girlfriends. With a big smile, she recommended aperi'glisse.
