Born and raised in Praz-sur-Arly, Julien grew up with skis on his feet, living in tune with the seasons and the snowfall.

Sliding has always been part of Julien’s life. He teaches both skiing and snowboarding, with a real passion for snowboarding, which he especially loves to share and pass on 🏂 From a very young age, he turned towards competition, taking part in numerous races and reaching the podium several times, helping him build a strong technical foundation and an excellent sense of progression.

Curious and passionate, Julien didn’t limit himself to just one resort. He has worked as an instructor across the Alps, including La Rosière, Praz-sur-Arly, Tignes and the Tarentaise. These varied experiences have shaped a versatile instructor, comfortable with all levels and all types of skiers.

Outside of winter, Julien is first and foremost a young dad and works as a crane operator. He loves spending time outdoors and sharing his passion for nature and the mountains with his children. A true reflection of his natural teaching skills, patience, and dedication to passing on his knowledge ❤️

Julien’s journey is also a great human story. A long-time friend of Pierrick, the structure’s manager, they have shared many seasons and years skiing together. This strong bond is felt on the slopes and helps create the friendly, relaxed atmosphere Julien loves to offer his clients.

We had a full day private snowboard and ski lesson with Julien and Martin, and we absolutely loved it! Julien was very patient and encouraging, you can also tell that he’s passionate and knowledgeable about the sport. Martin was a very responsible and caring instructor as well! We’d definitely book their lessons again when we come back next time :)

Julien a été le moniteur de ski de nos deux jeunes filles (âgées de 6 et 4 ans), toutes deux débutantes, pendant quatre jours, et nous n'aurions pas pu rêver mieux. Sa gentillesse et sa patience ont immédiatement mis les filles à l'aise. Elles se sentaient tellement à l'aise avec lui qu'elles étaient vraiment impatientes de se rendre sur les pistes chaque jour, sans aucune crainte. Au bout de seulement trois heures le premier jour, elles dévalaient déjà les pistes avec un grand sourire et beaucoup d'assurance. Le deuxième jour, elles skiaient en toute confiance sur des pistes plus grandes. Le troisième jour, elles s'essayaient à de petits virages, des boucles et des sauts ludiques. Le quatrième jour, elles mettaient en pratique toutes les techniques qu'il leur avait enseignées en descendant les pistes plus grandes avec beaucoup d'assurance et d'enthousiasme. Julien est incroyablement ponctuel, gentil et vraiment formidable avec les enfants. Pour finir en beauté, il a remis aux filles des médailles et un petit livret indiquant leur niveau de ski, ce dont elles étaient très fières et qu'elles chériront longtemps. Nous sommes très reconnaissants d'avoir eu un moniteur aussi fantastique. Nous recommandons vivement Julien !

Thank you to Evolution 2 in Megève for these two amazing experiences: paragliding and yooner! We were a group of eight friends and we loved our first paragliding experience above the pine trees, followed by the yooner descent. The instructors are very reassuring, professional, and friendly!
