What does that mean ?

The title of River Guardian, awarded by the FFCK, recognizes individuals who are actively involved in preserving waterways (the Isère and Doron rivers) and developing environmentally friendly sporting activities.

  • In concrete terms, this means that our team is committed to:
  • protecting and promoting the Isère River and its ecosystem,
  • raising awareness among our participants (families, athletes, companies) of the beauty but also the fragility of the aquatic environment,
  • offering outdoor activities that respect nature,
  • teaching younger generations about the importance of water and its cycle.

Savoie river guardian

The river, our playground and way of life

Every day, we descend the Isère River by rafting, hydrospeed, or canoe-raft. But beyond the adrenaline rush, we want each outing to be an encounter with the river.

Being a River Guardian means understanding that it's not enough to simply enjoy the river: we must also protect it, listen to it, and accompany it.

Savoie River Guardian

A collective commitment

Becoming a River Guardian means joining a national network run by the FFCK, which brings together clubs, associations, and outdoor organizations around a shared mission: to make whitewater a place for sports, discovery, and environmental awareness. We are proud to contribute to this movement and to show that here in Tarentaise, the river is both a natural heritage site and a social bond.

Why does this title matter to us ?

Because it confirms a value that we have always held dear: adventure is only worthwhile if it is sustainable. This label encourages us to continue our efforts, to pass on even more, and to turn every customer, every child, into a little river guardian in the making !
